As a Nasus top main...

Is there any counter to his wither? Even QSS and Boots of swiftness only help a little, bc the next wither I bring down on you is going to let me Q you down like a dog treat. Just wondering.

The main way is to not let him get in close enough to slow you. CC him before you get cc'd. If you don't kite him you're gonna get rekt since nasus is extremely strong but easily kitable.

WIther is so silly, it's almost a stun for autoattack based champions with the combination of attackspeed and movementspeed slows and it has an insanely low downtime in between withers...

Yes. Don't get in range and/or have blinks or CC for him.

Gangplank, Sivir and Nocturne have their own forms of avoiding his wither, then a mercurial is the item suggestion, finally the summoner spell cleanse is the last option to removing it. Mercury treads and any other tenacity reduce the time of it, but that's just about anything that can deal with it.

Olaf Ryze Riven these make his life hard. As noted, the wither hits hard champions relying on auto attacks but then again, he has little to offer for combo champs, champs with strong root and champs that simply ignore his wither.

just wreck his team and make him stack till the infinity or get rekd unstacked the epic circle that makes nasuses doom themselves

I feel like one thing they could do to "rebalance" wither is to make its weaknesses (spellshields and disable-removal) more prominent; for the spellshields, perhaps have him telegraph it more so sivir and nocturne have an easier time landing it?

I think Riot agrees that a champion should not be able to land such a 'game-breaking' spell so easily.

Cleanse, also some champions such as gangplank have a remove slow

All depends on the champions. Gankplank can remove the w with his w, Riven can still bash your face in regardless, darius can still pull and dunk, etc. It counters aa based champs no different than spell shields counter spell reliant champs.

Gapclosers in general. The main person to look out for is Quinn since her E counters a heck ton.

The counter to Nasus is focusing him first and bursting him down, because he has no mobility and burst damage outside of melee range. Even with a full tank build, Nasus lategame is not infinitely durable and can be killed safely through focus fire.

If your team is full of split push champions against Nasus though, then too bad, your team deserves to lose for poor picks.

The other counter to Nasus is camping mid lane, because by snowballing your burst mage/assassin, you snowball the champion that will do the best job of quickly removing Nasus from teamfights before he can do damage. Nasus is team dependent and relies on having teammates that are also a threat so that he is not the only one who gets focussed before he can engage, so if his other teammates are weak and too easily ignored or disposed of, then Nasus isn't able to easily pick up after them given how easily he's focus fired.

Any champion that has sustained damage while rendering you unable to q them back counters nasus hard. See Rumble, irelia, jax, riven, renekton, teemo. Almost any other top laner can smash him in lane if they can prevent his q. Of course you can spam wither in lane, but you will be out of mana and unable to spam q, although teleport mitigates most of this.

As for late game, Nasus can get kited and whittled down to a puppy, so really, his utility from his ulti, w and e are what keeps him relevant. From my experience.
