I fucking hate this community.

I am so F***ING TIRED of being harassed abused and bullied by premade teams on this fucking game.

Yes, I mute them. But that doesn't stop them in champ select and it doesn't stop them spamming all chat that I am the one being toxic and it doesn't stop them in post-game chat.

So FK them. And fk this messed up system that allows them to bait and harass and abuse the report system in this way.

Thanks. It's not even the whole community, title is a generalization. I love a plurality of the people I play with. I love playing with my friends. I just hate those (seemingly way too often) games where there is one or far worse a PREMADE of people whose sole purpose in playing is to trash someone else's game and day. It's just really frustrating as a player who is playing normals with fun champs just looking to enjoy the game. It's not like I was playing ranked or feeding. I was just playing normals.

dude, i know exactly what you mean. it happens every once in a while, but as @Lyte said himself, we tend to remember the negative experiences more vivid and for longer! They just stand out.

I really wish we had the option to solo-queue only, as to avoid being the randy in a pre4.

Its already bad enough with duos, when you are a solo-queue adc and your support doesnt stick with you but runs to be with his duo all the time, leaving you exposed. Pre-4's often don't even bother communicating at all (except with themselves through their voice app), and if they do, its often negative!

As a person that frequently plays in 4-man or 5-man premade teams with my friends, I can say that those people are absolute assholes. We never report players for no apparent reason, and we don't troll. I was playing with one of my friends and he told someone to die of cancer. So the rest of us reported him and never played with him again.

You will come across some absolute arse-heads, who's only goal is to ruin everyone else's experience. Sadly, this is what online games are like. Go to any community, whether it be Warframe or War Thunder or World of Warcraft (lots of "War" in those titles...), and there WILL be an asshole, somewhere, somehow. In Warframe, you can get a group of friends together and never leave spawn, making it impossible for the other person to leave (this actually happened to me. I got a freaking Tranquil Cleave (a very rare item) from that mission and I couldn't get it because the other three just walked around the spawn room). In War Thunder, you can shoot down an allied airplane and say it was an accident (although there is a replay system there, so you can at least make a case). And I believe we can guess how to troll in WoW.

Just keep your head up, and if you need to, get Riot support (and hope you aren't talking to a bot. I don't think I have, but other people apparently have).

Do understand that one's report 'weight' goes down the less 'accurate' your reporting is. So if a pre-made is bulying and harassing you and you don't continue to get reporting (a.k.a. the aforementioned reports were unwarranted) then their report weight counts for next to nothing, so don't let it get to you. However if you do continue to get reported in concurrent games because you're upset not only are you putting yourself in a bad spot but you're giving them more power to their unjustified reports. So take a step back, breathe, get your calm back and show them up by being a good influence.

I appreciate it, and you're right. But that doesn't change the level of bullying or harassment that exists in this community. And the majority of Riot's response is to mask it as the "evil 1%" when in reality there is a far more vocal and negative group in the player membership of this game. It's vile, disgusting and cancerous for the well-being of this game.

Please blur the names out. We don't need a witch hunt. That being said, both of those players would be worth writing a ticket for (especially given that one SN, holy hell) in addition to the traditional report.

Additionally, try to reduce the strength of the negative words in your post...it would add more legitimacy to what you are saying.

That being said, your overall point is not entirely incorrect. There are players who create negative experiences and can potentially ruin the game. While they are less prevalent than neutral or positive players, the interactions with negative people are remembered more for nothing more than how profound they are.

Please don't let it completely turn you off to the game, as there are great players and people within this community. If nothing else, this issue is just evidence that sometimes the system in place does not work as fast as it should despite its best intent.

I appreciate you taking the time to reply. I will blur the names out asap. I understand what you mean about the vulgarity and "rant" of my post, but to be completely forthcoming this was originally meant as a way for me to vent and rant, not as a critical commentary on the state of the league.

I had the best pre-made team experience yesterday. I was first-pick and was harassed immediately for bans (also for not banning what they requested) and then for picking Zyra mid. I was told that they were a pre 4, that i wouldn't get ganks and that they would feed my lane opponent for the lolz.

I find what helps besides muting them the first time they decide to shit out of the wrong end is lowering the chatbox size to the lowest. it makes chat really small meaning it is easier to ignore and focus on what you are doing in game.

I do think it would be a good idea for riot to implement a system where mb you can be more likely to have people with a positive record on your team.

I get how you feel man and I want you to know that by covering up the peoples names that you are the bigger man in this.

How about we focus on fighting the enemy team instead of each other?

Yeah, it's gotten so terrible lately. Somewhere around Christmas, it was like someone waved the magic banstick or something. There was 2-3 weeks of all this crap being almost nonexistent, then all the sudden it goes right back to almost every game. Maybe it was the mystery gift combined with a wave of punishments combined with your average ragekid being super mad at placement and ranked right now. Doesn't matter all that much why however, what matters is that the difference was like night and day, and that it can change. Seeing that Riot has the power to make it a better place, then watching them just stop doing whatever it was is very demoralizing and extremely frustrating.

I usually play with a premade of at least 2 or 3 other people. We never really flame on any of our random teammates. We do flame eachother but that's all in good fun and we all understand that. Anyone who tells another person to kill themselves over a game just wants to sound like a badass. In reality they are probably in high school and think they are some hot piece of bread.

I dish out what is given to me. Which yes, equals a chat restriction. If someone tells me to drink bleach and kill myself I am going to tell him to stfu. Does that make me wrong and deserve a chat restriction? Yes. Does that make me as bad as the people who tell others to kill themselves etc? No.

Hence the clear and distinct difference between 'Self-defense' and 'retaliation'. In this case, your overall well-being was not impacted in any way. So this was not 'self defense', but 'retaliation'. Yes, the person who instigated the fair is at fault for setting up the play. But you're not much better for voluntarily becoming an actor. Simply ignoring him and leaving the stage is an action you could have taken as well.

On a more serious note, I dont like it when I get flamed at, but after 2 years I have found ways to deal with it. I have a 3D Rubix Cube that I dont try to solve but tamper with when I feel stressed or am being harassed as it makes me calm down and lets me put my hands on something. I also sometimes do it the Dyrus way and put a pillow in my lap. It helps.

It os still ridiculous the extents you have to go sometimes to deal with the community though.

I know where you're coming from and I know how frustrating it is to be placed in this situation. Like, you're doing poorly and even if they aren't berating you endlessly you can feel the pressure and judgement emanating from the screen.

Just remind yourself that you won't have to play with these people anymore after the game if you block/report anyone who makes you feel uncomfortable and then hope for a better next game.

If you need to just take a break from the game. After I had a really poor game I stopped playing for nearly 8 months(?)(obviously doesn't have to be this long of a break, lol) and I came back to the game fully refreshed with a good attitude in every game and I've lost very rarely because I don't give up and I keep my head up and don't let stuff like this get to me.

That just makes it worse. If it all it took was one message online then that message never should have existed in the first place. Don't try to justify it being ok to try to talk someone into committing suicide even if it was meant at some sort of sick joke.
