Make Soraka's "Q" have no cast time

Soraka's "W" has an immediate cast time, while on the other hand her "Q" [Starcall] has a delayed cast time (where she stops and swings her wand to call the star), and after that there's another delay, before the star drops down and hits the enemy. Now, what if this spell worked as Syndras "Q"?

I think this would be an interesting idea to make her "Q" work immediately and alongside her walking animation for various reasons:

First, she has one of the most difficult to land kiting abilities, so stopping her every time she has to cast one doesn't help her much either
This change would give her a bigger chance to protect herself from the more "flexible" champions that are in the League (and there's quite a lot of them), plus she's pretty much killing herself over her allies, with her "W" in the first place
Most people don't like high ping and slow cast reactions, because it feels really unsatisfying, like if the champion isn't doing what he's told to do (same usually goes for a slow cast time on auto attacks)

On the other hand, this change could make her a little out of control, but that could be easily prevented by either increasing her cooldown or decreasing a cast range on her "Q" just a tiny bit...

That's pretty much all from my side, I tried my best to speak as clearly as possible, since I'm not a native English speaker. I'm looking forward to your feedback!

Ps. Why don't you guys allow her to damage creeps with her "E"? It feels really underwhelming to play her, when trying to defend a tower from large pile of incoming creeps all by herself...

Nope and won't, but that's not the point I've played against her what your trying todo is make her op, that and you are refuseing to see other's points of view. Of coure I down voted the Idea. I down vote any idea I don't like/think is good, call me crazy I thought that was the point of Up voting and down voting stuff.

This is a game, to keep it a game changes have to be balanced changes.

For example,

New Idea for Karthus

Gets his ult at level 1 100% Cdr on ult while at spawn

There's a difference between a completely stupid idea and a little tweaking idea. This change wouldn't make her "OP" as you say, since the star would fall at the exact same speed as it does right now. Nothing would be changed for you as an opponent. You would be still able to dodge it or juke it.

Just because you were annoyed by playing against her, doesn't mean she's actually overpowered...

Also, you didn't even try playing as her in the first place, yet you're here to make the decisions. That's like saying a drink or food is bad, before even tasting it...

you know if you try the champion out you can figure out how to work around their abilities.

saying youre never gonna play her just says you dont want to learn how to deal with her.

also i think soraka is fine the way she is now. i dont think she needs a buff or nerf, she fills a specific role well.

1st Learn to read then reply, I never once said she was OP. I stated your Idea would make her.

2nd I don't get annoyed playing her, I get annoyed playing against fizz

3rd I don't play her as a personal prefrence, I do not like her looks and do not like playing support, there are just by far, in my personal belief, more fun, and cooler champions and roles to play

4th you don't have to play a champion to know how to beat them.

5th You are still refusing to see others point of view, making you a rude and toxic summoner. Proof is that you have replied twice bashing without bothering to fully read, thus respect, what another summoner has said. Making you sound childish

6th If she cast it instantly the speed of it does change, thus allowing a quick E combo since the target will be slowed, then rooted allowing (inserts various ADC's name) to get a free kill. Thus making it OP.

There you go Child thats the reasons on Why this idea almost rivals the karthus example and why you shouldn't be posting ideas till you can learn to respect, and acutally fully read others points of view.

The problem with this is that it's basically unlimited free lifesteal. The E's cast time is instant to balance out the issue of having extremely mobile ADCs (Lucian), where that Q is impossible to hit. So even if you're never gonna get any lifesteal that whole laning phase, at least you can do some damage.

She still has her "unlimited lifesteal", even right now. How would it be different, from how it is at the moment? It would still have the star-drop delay as it has now, with the only difference of being able to cast while walking. And as I mentioned earlier, some adjustments could be done to the spell, like increasing it's cooldown or decreasing it's range to balance things out.

Now, unless you deal full damage on her "E", it's a really weak spell with a long cooldown. And getting the full effect of her "E" spell, where you bind your target, happens maybe 1 out of 10 times. That's why this spell is instant, but it still stops Soraka's movement.

All I wish for Soraka is to give her a little bit more mobility and make her "W" more practical and satisfying, while keeping it's power the same.
