Is it really that bad?
Here comes a honest question from a solo player who has been playing for slightly over a year now, and who has recently perceived a lot of rants and complaints, mostly about Dynamic Queue. And I'm confused. Because no matter how hard I try, I am unable to understand it.
I know there are many people unsatisfied with DQ, but personally I haven't seen all that much of "(toxic) premades in almost every game", or "so many people who are getting boosted". I finished last season in Silver 3, and now, as a solo only player, I am now in my promos to Plat. Within the over 350 ranked games I have played this season, there were only very few with large or uneven premades, there were only very few with such big skill discrepancies, and there were only very few that I didn't enjoy. Maybe I'm lucky, but to me it feels more and more like circlejerk and less like an actual discussion where both sides (solo players and players who do want to play ranked with friends) can give their opinion without one side (the premades) getting downvoted into oblivion. It feels like a vocal minority is trying to drown the other side, even though they might have valid arguments. And between all the complaints, all the rants, and all the perceived flaws in, I am still enjoying the game. A lot. So much that I can't understand why there are so many complaints. So my honest question:
Is it really that bad?
Downvote this and other posts if you find them inappropriate, or irrelevant, or offensive, or whatever. But don't just downvote and ignore them simply because they disagree with you. By doing that, you are simply pretending to yourself that there is only one side to this discussion, which isn't true.
