Compared against Katarina's Sinister Steel, which doesn't stop her to cast it, it gives Akali some... clunkiness.
And before you say "Akali's already OP, STFU!", clearly if they let Akali cast her E while moving, Riot will force Akali to be nerfed in compensation.
I just feel that it would be more appropriate for her to be able to cast her E while moving due to her being a mobility-assassin.
Solidair32 votesMost likely the clunkiness is intentional. Akali moves around very quickly and frequently thanks to her ult, and I assume this was a design decision put in place to allow her opponent a moment to lock on and counter-attack.
