Would an item that built out of tiamat and sheen work?

item 3077 + item 3057 = new item potential?

One thing about the tiamat build path is the active effect. Part of me has been wondering if it'd be viable if riot made an item that build out of tiamat but uses the sheen passive effect as a replacement trigger for the active boost. So no active effect, but casting a spell gives you a boost to the next tiamat passive.

Ideal users would be champs that weave spells and autos and need wave clear.

Just an Idea.

Siegehammer(Colossal hydra):

Cost: 3150

50 AD 250 Mana 100% HP regen 20% CDR

UNIQUE PASSIVE - Spellblade: Deals 150% AD on your next attack to all nearby enemy targets. UNIQUE ACTIVE - Crush: Increase the area of effect and damage done by your next spellblade by 33%(20 second CD).

This item will override cleave, crescent and all other spellblade effects due to it's powerful AoE damage.

it would probably break irelia lmfao

but if she builds tiamat-sheen item she wont have extra attack speed, 10% less cdr, bonus movement speed from phase and so on. Not to mention she wont be able to build other tiamat items like Titanic Hydra

I play like 90% ad champs, and even im gonna say that is way too overloaded, would be an absolutely massive 1 item powerspike on a bunch of champs.

Sheen passive as well as tiamat passive and active are both very strong and bundling both those on hit passives into one item would break a handful of champs.

It would be cool but its kinda not needed atm. It'll push too many over the edge

@thread What if it was a lethality item instead? item 3057 + item 3134 + item 3077 = Meddling spear. +50AD +20 lethality. Unique passive: Spellblade: After using an ability your next basic attack deals 100% base AD+200% of your lethality as physical damage and 75% of that to nearby enemies.

I was thinking about that. I'm not sure I want to give assassins wave clear, the spell blade passive, and lethality on the same item. So that'd be a little too stat efficient even for me. ;)

I mean... Itd be not very gold efficient, thats for sure.

Tiamat = 1200 Sheen = 1050 Serrated dirk = 1100 Thats 3350g without combine costs. with combine costs at 500 that'd place it at 3850g, pretty expensive. it also drops 250 mana and 50% life regen. Whose costs dont add up to 10 lethality. Further, the AoE proc requires a lot of lethality to be useful as waveclear, since its not a cleave passive but a spell blade effect. A full build assassin should have... ~54 or so lethality, and with this item that would raise to 74 meaning a full proc would do base AD+148phys to a single target.

That would be extremely versatile and slot efficient for champs that build Triforce and a Tiamat upgrade. In some scenarios they could forget about buying two items and buy this one that you're thinking about, and use their gold to either boost damage or build more defensive stats because they'd have 1 extra slot to fill for whatever they'd want.

This is very true. However by not getting item 3748+item 3078 players would be given up a lot of health, AS, and move speed. I can't think of any one item that someone could get to make up for the loss of those 4 things. You'd need a zeal item and a health item to come close and that's taking up more slots overall.

So it's a case of having more passive efficiency that makes you give up stat efficiency as you'd be forced to build 3 items total if you want the same variety of stats that item 3748+item 3078 offer.

You mean this item 3025 ?

It basically turns the Sheen effect into a Tiamat effect.

Our good overlord Ezreal abusing a tank item for many many seasons wouldn't be able to build it anymore.

That alone might be the best reason to make this combo...

AD have enough items to allow extra waveclear/scaling/burst/on-hit. They don't need one that combines Triforce with Titanic/Ravenous.

Zane Zephyr1 votes

The last thing GP needs is more waveclear

the problem is it would work TOO well, you are combining two very strong passives. it would just break more stuff and crowd out item 3078 and item 3025
