"Worth" shutdowns and chasing kills
Just to let those who are unaware know, chasing kills does not win games. If you see Zilean in your jungle, chasing his movement speed, exhausting, stunning butt around for 15-20 seconds isn't going to accomplish anything. At best you will waste time, at worst you will be baited into an ace. And even if you get the kill, but lose people it wasn't worth it. Especially if it wasn't a carry that you killed.
On top of that, trading even 1 for 1 isn't worth it even if you kill their carry and you aren't IF you are ahead. Because you likely just gave their entire team a free dose of shutdown gold.
Keep in mind, if you have a couple kills in a row without dying, you start building bounty. If you die, the enemy team splits a bonus bounty for killing you. If you have 400 bounty on you, killing 2 people who don't isn't worth infusing that into the enemy team.
Overall, just stop desperately hard diving kills and chasing them all over the map. If it's normals and you want to be silly and suicide dive their team on an ADC, go for it. But in ranked, the objective is winning, and while KDA helps, team coordination and controlling objectives is more important. Farm and team gold lead is more important. Nobody is going to be impressed that you chased Teemo for 60 seconds even if you score the kill. We will be impressed if you help us take dragon or defend towers or play safe while they have Baron.
Sincerely - Person who... usually doesn't chase kills.
through the jungle or something... i mean like fuk just get drag or the turret stop worrying about getting that one more kill
