Tip on abusing "adaptive" bonuses for mages with poor CS
okay, pro players can cs well with a mage that has 50 freaking AD.. but I sure cant. So here's a little fun trick I just discovered, for mages that have poor early game clear, but good mid/late game clear.
Build rune pages with "adaptive" bonuses, and start doran's blade.
You start out with the extra AD from dorans, PLUS an extra 10-15 AD from adaptive bonuses. But when you are level 6 or whatnot, and you buy your first "real" item.. it switches over for you, to be 15-20 bonus AP.
This works well for any mage that you arent expecting to get a level 1-3 kill from. Usually, they have poor waveclear with low leveled abilities as well, so you can use all the help you can get. especially if you are up against a lane bully that CAN waveclear.
And hey, the little bit of lifesteal doesnt hurt either :)
