Life Steal on Lee Sin

Why do people buy life steal on ? It... is usefullless? If any of you are getting a hot feeling in your belly and want to punch me for saying that, please hear me out first.

What is life steal? It is an on-hit effect that heals the user for a portion of the damage they dealt. So, all auto attacks and abilities that have on-hit effects will heal the user.

Why do I mention something as obvious as that? Because none of 's damaging abilities have on-hit effects. Ever since his ult was changed with its colliding effect, it has been considered a single targeted area of effect ability. Because of that, the only thing life steal will heal him in is auto attacks and some item passives like 's crescent and cleave.

Although life steal does help in healing up after a fight by clearing minions and monsters, as well is more of a hit-and-run champ, for a slightly more bruiser build or for those who don't really like being a pure glass cannon, I personally recommend and .

heals for physical damage dealt (lowered on AOE), gives a decent amount of AD (65), a bleeding effect to slow damage on yourself, and a bit of CDR. is pretty good if you want to deal more damage more often, as well as slowing damage dealt to you, giving you a chance to heal up before the bleed can kill you.

heals for all types of damage dealt (lowered on AOE), has an active slow, gives some AD (40), and quite a bit of AP (80). has more sustain and has a hybrid version of 's Q and E (I like to think of it that way, sorry if it disgusts you).

Clearly, in this new season 6, these 2 items seem to be a viable option for . The reason I'm posting this is because I would like to read your opinions, because I couldn't find a discussion of this anywhere, since it's still pre-season. Do you think what I've said is worth considering? Would these two items be better damaging-sustain items on than life steal items, or is the heal from 's auto attack AOE still worth more to you? Should you just ignore life steal or any healing from items altogether and just focus on AD and Tank stats?
