@Riot: Can you give context on why you don't allow a "no premades" queue?

People ask for it, but each topic surrounding it gets shot down pretty fast. Is there something toxic about a "no premades" queue that hasn't been explained?

Riot's development team COULD do this, except it would slow the queue times down for the segregation of players. Most likely this is the reason they do not do it, considering every other moba game except for League of Legends has a much longer queue time for matches.

The game is 5v5.

It is physically impossible to create a Duo-only queue considering one individual must ALWAYS be solo.

You can't have 3 pairs in a 5 card game.

You misunderstood the topic. I meant absolutely no duos, premades, etc.

That could be done quite easily.

You have your SOLO QUEUE (this is what you're talking about), with a simple clickable option that asks if you would like to be paired up with Duo's or only teamed up with other Solo Queue players.

That's really all it would take.

The real question is, why do you want to segregate the two?

To avoid facing said premades? Both teams would be required to have 5 solos vs 5 solos.
