Here's something: Why didn't you update Sona's lore?

Sona's got a story, yes, but it's going absolutely nowhere. So she's Valoran's biggest popstar, but does that say anything about her goals? Does it make people relate to her? Does it contribute to the ongoing LoL story?

Not really.

IMO, Sona could use a better story. This remake would've been the perfect time for it. So what stopped you?

Yes, perhaps it could add something about a police investigation and how she managed to prove herself innocent in court after the Etwahl's rogue assassination of her adoptive mother. Also, some talk about a temporary fall in popularity as a fallout of this scandal and how finally joining The Institute of War helped her regain fame.

Just a few suggestions, but it's always nice when they build further on the lore. I've personally read every champion's lore as well as the available League Judgments.

I'm honestly surprised they didn't remove all references to the League from her. That's the first champ they've upgraded who they HAVENT done that to.

But yeah. Riot doesn't care about lore, and they're actively removing it wherever possible. Expect the games name and the referring of players as Sumoners to be meaningless leftovers within a year or two. They've already removed the JoJ and reduced champ backgrounds from actual descriptive paragraphs to short stories that tell us nothing about the character (read Twitch's current available lore. Tell me, just from that, WHO he is, WHERE he came from, and WHY he does what he does.)

Good point, Instead of chopping up this character and just tossing pieces of her in the trash how about updating the story.

I'm honestly glad they didn't.

I'm not that attached to her current lore but it really bothers me that Riot retcons something every other month . . .
