@Riot, please someone tell me what good the Fizz rework did
Is he more healthy/less "frustrating" to play against? No, he is such a cheesy and binary pick now that he has to be able to "instantly" oneshot a squishy with 60 AP at level 6 to function.
Did it stop tank Fizz? No, Fizz top was very bad before the rework already because the %hp damage got nerfed. Then after the rework (where Riot stated that stopping Fizz from building tanky was a main goal) and follow up buffs he became literally the strongest top laner in the game in both soloq and competitive play while not being very strong mid.
**Is he more fun to play? **Subjective, but 63% (over 205 out of 330 people) of the Fizz mains on his subreddit prefer old Fizz, this is 1 year after the rework that obviously made many Fizz players leave him + his subreddit. Same goes for basically every Fizz player I met ingame.
**Is he even still an assassin? **Barely, pretty much the best thing he has going for him at higher levels of play is the fact that his ult will first slow you by 80% for 2 seconds, then knock you up for 1 second and then slow you by 80% again for 1.5 seconds. Im pretty sure this isnt what anyone wanted the "Tidal Trickster" to do.
So... what is left exactly? Someone enlighten me pls. Not to mention that Riot said Fizz doesnt really need a rework anyway and scaled it down to a ""mini-update"", but still completely changed his playstyle.
