I am sick of dying to game induced deaths

I have had so many stand offs with opponents in lane in which we both were down to near no hp, I made the last kill blow, I could tell because my attack was already launched, then the game freezes/lags in the exact moment, and even thought I had hit him first, the lag goes away two seconds later and I find myself dead. Either the game at that moment ignores my attack because of the lag r whatever because I clearly had the kill, the opponent had not launched anything and in that 1 second he wouldn't have been able to before he died. Can we please fix this!
