I would like to see these Kindred changes. They would make life much easier for us Kind mains

When you are already taking marked camp please extend the Mark duration. There is nothing worse than counterjungling, taking marked camp only for the Mark to disappear because it was too long on the same monster.

Let us mark enemies in combat. It's long enought that I have to wait 8s before the Mark is set. If I have to be out of combat too it's too much. Or if you don't want that at least decrease passive cooldown with level. It's ridiculous that I have to wait that long between marks in late game too.

If there is no viable monster for a current mark rank, please mark something from lower tier. For example I had 6+ marks last game. Both drake and baron were down. I had nothing marked in enemy jungle for few minutes

This one I don't know if it's needed, maybe it's just my frustration after playing so many games versus Yasuo, but can you maybe code Wold as a minion without hitbox? So my final E can't be windwalled? He's supposed to be the second half of my champion after all. You know, 2 champions in one? Treat him like a champion then, not a projectile. You just strenghten opinion that Kindred is Lamb with a pet

Personally, I believe that scoring a takedown on a marked champion should refresh the cooldown and let you choose your next target immediately.

When their passive cooldown is ready to mark their next monster target, it needs to always mark something, even if that means having a monster camp be force respawned early. Also, if a marked monster gets killed by a teammate, the mark should immediately move to another monster, so that Kindred isn't screwed over by inconsiderate teammates.

I feel like monster marking should put a mark in both jungles each cycle. However, make it so that Kindred needs two friendly jungle marks to actually improve their stack, while only needing the normal one mark from the enemy jungle. This allows them to catch up if they fall behind, while also rewarding them if they play aggressive into the enemy jungle.

Kindred is the only champion that has a cooldown on their stacking buff, and it feels terrible.

I wish the stacking on Kindred's passive against monsters worked like stacking with Devourer did, where it stacked on monster takedowns, not monster kills, so you could still get stacks if an ally killed the camp if you touched it at least once.

Would make me feel better about giving up invaded red/blue buffs to my teammates, too.

I like this as well, should be added in addition to all the above. It's already takedowns for the champion marks, so there's little reason not to extend that to monsters too.

^this needs to happen. I sometimes get flamed by taking a marked red or blue just because its marked.

You know what? I'm gonna make it a 'weekly reminder that...' thread.

  1. Marks disappearing isn't an issue until late marks. Early game (or if you fall massively behind), marks are more likely to be taken by either you or the enemy.

  2. Yes please, having to wait until I'm out of combat to mark a champion sucks.

  3. No, the point of the late game mark restriction to epic monsters is to taper off mark sources to focusing on fights, and to keep Kindred from snowballing out of control in the event that she gets massively ahead and dominates the entire jungle.

  4. As someone who loves both Yasuo and Kindred (Yasuo a bit more), no. Kindred basically is Lamb with a pet. Mounting Dread - E is a projectile. They need a rework if they want to change anything about that, but I'm not sure if Riot would want to do this; Kindred was their highly anticipated "marksman in the jungle" that they attempted to do. The last rework was to solidify that identity and move her away from her extremely open build path and skirmisher playstyle. They clearly value the gameplay identity over lore/fantasy in this case.

And exactly which of these changes would make them so op?

all of them, you really don't need to slap that much onto a champion with 51-52% win ratio to break them.
