Seriously riot, it isnt fair that AD Assassins and even ADCs are able to build a ton of mr, but AP assassins only have zhonyas for armor.
If riot are worried that bruisers could abuse this, simply add AP scalings on the armor (more AP = more armor). I made a concept of this item that can be found here:

pretty squarely levels the playing field, as it reduces autos by 10%. Not even tanks can boast about an item that does that to Mage assassins.
(Adaptive helm really only works against spam mages not assassins so not counting it). There are only really two ad me items as well, and they take a HUGE loss of power to buy both.
