Am I the only one that is rolling eyes at these posts?

I don' t want to attack the post writers, at all. But every damn change, every damn time i see threads over threads of people begging for tear stacks thinking that everything fell to ruin while, in most of cases, they just need to adapt a little to some changes.

I can understand that someone sees the usual champion changed and does not react initially well, hell i played mostly Morde and Veigar before going jung/supp and i played shen supp before his changes, and i also think that it' s fine to have opinions of your own and to criticize and provide feedback.

But damn, a day just passed and many here started already posting hyperboles all over the place. Hyperboles that most times are not accurate, even. Criticism is fine, but shallow whine only takes space and grabs upvotes. Do you really want that?! If there is space for gameplay shitposting like that, then let me tell you that i had enough of players acting like entitled brats and encourage them to cool their head off.

Hey man I was here since season 1. So yes I feel you. But let em complain if they want. I've come to terms no one is perfect and we're all human. If ventilating on forum is good enough to relieve some stress, that's better than beating your dependents/suicide attempts/doing harmful drugs/etc.

You are right and i think the same, but probably i let it get to me somehow and i felt the need to post this. Just to feel like trying to slow down this degradation spiral, in my little, or to let someome "cool up".

Probably i should just think less about it. Thanks for bringing me back to clarity!

Haha after all technically this thread too is a vent/complaint about something isn't it? :P

NP I do the same thing too. I've posted countless vent rage threads on here in the past.

I think its just there are a lot of changes and well, not all of them are good.

Zed is still a problem, and now we don't have QSS to help anymore. A better thing to have put on Zhonyas is something to do with mana, because the CDR doesn't help if you have to rush Zhonyas and have no mana to spam with anyways. This is the item that people rush to deal with Zed but you end up having nothing to help your mana. And his damage is still pretty high and he can just spam you from a distance while you have to ration your mana, and then the dive comes and you're dead. I see him banned almost every game because not banning him is a mistake. He just feels very strong and very oppressive.

Some of the champion reworks are 50/50. I've seen people enjoying them and people hating them.

I see a lot of hate towards the new items and so far I'm not really liking fighting against them and with them. Annie with the dash item is really annoying, I see that in most of my games. Mana seems like a really big problem especially against ad midlaners who can just spam you. There's no mana pots, now there's really no mana regen. Champions who build very mana heavy are running out of mana. Idk about all the jungle changes, I don't play jg but I see a lot of hate toward that too.

The elemental dragons are cool but now the game feels VERY one sided. If a team starts winning and has a drag or two, they snowball, keep getting kills and objectives, keep getting more drags and your team can't contest, so you end up having no shot and forfeiting at 20. The dragons aren't planned too and I believe the same buffs stack. Like, even if my team was losing before the updates we still had a chance and weren't crushed as hard. Now teams just snowball.

There might be changes that get put in place after a while but I see why there is a lot of frustration.

honestly, i never saw them as a problem as you listed. The only problem i had is adapting, which is something expectable to me. Probably i am sided on one part for this since i discovered protobelt AP rammus. Oh god.

Zed... i think that is more obsession than a proper problem. The thing that i would absolutely not do against a zed is to take a QSS very soon, and in a teamfight QSS-ing the zed' s ult is the least thing i would do either - there are many worse threats than a damage spike, and there are many different ways i can neutralize him ( see Soraka' s silence, Veigar' s cage, any delayed or instand cc in the game and so on). Yeah, it's still a lever less, but then the problem is zed and not the item, because it' s nonsense to keep this interaction for a champ only when it can affect every other champion in the game. And since it' s such a niche case, probably zed does not even deserve a nerf over it.

It is good to vent however honestly there should be a different area to let loose the frustration. This is GAMEPLAY forums not VENTING forums.

Yah I am a zyra main and I didn't think it would take 1 game to get used to the advanced geometry with her q and passive.

Hyperiön1 votes

I created a post just about this. It is very sad and ignorant of these childish people to constantly complain when they don't get their way.

Yaskamasandwich1 votes

On another note to further prove the point is all I see are threads complaining about dynamic que over and over and over again. They are all the same, complaints about something that shouldn't happen too often so they could be made up stories, or just upvote threads. We get it! People hate dynamic que! At least bring constructive professional criticism that points out its flaws no one else pointed out! OH WAIT THAT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE!

Or make threads that are again constructive criticism about other flaws of the game. Dynamic que hate has been way, way, wwwaaayyy over done. Might as well rename gameplay into "whiney bitchy dynamic que haters"

And somehow whining about the whiners makes this post better?

People react to things, and part of that is going to be vocalizations.

All opinions are not created equal, but everyone looks the same on the boards.

Remember every pre-teen with net access can come here and type away and be read the same as someone who puts a good deal of knowledge and thought into what they put up.

There is whining and there is letting people notice things, or criticize, or what else.

... but honestly when i created this post there was a bit of feel of whining :P i can take that critic. Despite that, i hope that i managed to reach an acceptable discussion depth and not being shallow.

You summed up most of the video game forums, ever.

If you have the urge to complain when people complain, then no surprise, people complain when something changed their status quo.

Instead, try looking at the positive aspects of this place. Many of these threads are salt mine worthy.

Like, we could put so much ham under salt here that we could solve world hunger :O

I agree, and i hold my own opinions on the changes until i've experienced them. Although then a champion like Malzahar gets unjustifiably reworked into a totally different champion.

When riot completely removes the identity of a champion, and replaces it with something which doesn't even accomplish their own stated goals, and feels like complete shit to play. I don't trust the riot design team at all if they are going to go and release terrible reworks making champions who have well designed kits into terribly designed piles of shit.

Decrit1 votes

Honestly the old Malzahar was so jumbled and broken that everything could be better than that :P

I find the new one far more intresting and more cohese on what i should expect from him. Bear in mind that i am not a Malz player, but a dude that spawned voidlings incontrollabily tied to casting other spells and that was able to shot you with a combo does not speak neither as a good void invoker nor as a good champion to play as/against :P

At least the new method to summon Voidlings is more reliable and controllable, and he has less stuff to dump at you at once. Not saying it is balanced ( maybe it is, or it is not, i don' t want to ente rinto that discussion), but design wise now is a champion i would actually like to play compared to before.

Actually as a malzahar main i completely disagree. In every respect the gameplay feels less consistent. But you do bring up a good point. From the prospective of someone who didn't play malzahar pre-patch, the changes sound good. **This is the entire feeling i get from the mage update. It feels like none of the devs redesigning the kits approached it from the prospective of someone who had played the champion. ** They say they want to keep the identity of the champions, then completely deface them for the trash that is the new malzahar.

The old version of malzahar actually had much more controllable voidlings. Auto attacks would taunt them to targets. Having played so much AD malzahar myself, you learn to utilize your voidlings and maximize the potential of the champion. With the rework it feels like there is 0 potential to differentiate good play from bad play, either your skills did what they were intended to do, or they didn't but that was nothing to do with your skill as the player. Which is terrible champion design.

Nah, that sounds unreasonable. There are thousands of Rioters working at Riot only in America that play the game plus professionals of different kind, i don' t think that they did not approach without the consensus of someone who played it. Be Real. Probably it just means that it does not follow your idea of the champion, like others here. Everyone has its own picture and they can' t please everybody. Also tell me how can the removal of guiding minions by autoattack is a thing that makes them less controllable? It' s weird because it shits on your minion positioning and removes all the appeal of the minionmancer that can multitask since it reduces the minion as a sort of autoattack modifier.
