What's up with that? I thought Riot tried to put her back to top lane? Wasn't that W change enough? Guess not.

It’s because riot made a champion who is everything.
She is balanced mid lane. Of course, if the player who plays her did it better than you, she would crush you. I think that applies to all champion, but people these days just bring the same posts each time they lose an encounter.
its the fact that her assassin like capabilities that keep her mid. she lost her block feature but still has dodge/burst potential.
Her mid potential was reduced, not removed.
she was nerfed more in top and buffed in mid tbh They removed her Ult aa block thing and extra damage on shields and buffed her Ult slow to 90% which is huge and it means she guarantees her E as long as she hits ult
