Everyone wants Neeko Nerfed, but nobody is proposing any solution to help her Mid

Do you guys not remember what happened to VIKTOR? He was weak mid but strong top, And what riot did? Gutted his top lane, while completely deleting Viktor from mid lane. Neeko is already non existent mid because of the amount of assassins and anti-mages mid.

She has high win rates in 4 lanes. She doesn't need help.

do basic research.

Lolalytics has her pegged at a 57% win rate bot, 51% as a support, 53% mid, and 54% top.

but they all low pick rate lol

Cayjan2 votes

Nope, all the pro players are spamming her in ranked games.

For now. It's been four days since the patch went live, it will increase.

Even then her overall pick rate is 8%, which isn't that low.

It's also only been 4 days, so her winrate will stabilize after a while...

She seems to perform decently in mid lane with an AP mage build. And the suggestion I made to nerf her outlier on-hit build was to make her W passive counter to be on-attack instead of on-hit, so she can't abuse Ruunans and Rageblade to get 2 procs with a single auto attack.

This change wouldn't harm AP Neeko in the slightest (which seems to be in a good spot, at least on the sites I am getting my data from).

47% winrate? Are you sure thats doing decent? She is slightly above Viktor in winrate, with a 0.04% playrate mid. She went from 47% to 52% because of the on hit build.

Where do you get these numbers from?

I checked op.gg, champion.gg and lolalytics and none of these sites has her at 46% winrate currently, they all have winrates between 49 and 51% for her in mid. Seems like there is a big discrepancy between our sources.

Man, at least that 47% (if it exists) means something. At least she wasn't cut in half due to having all of the kit damage on one spell. Seriously, at least she didn't end up like this: https://lolalytics.com/ranked/worldwide/platinum/plus/champion/Aatrox/

I stand by my early sentiment that Neeko should have been a battlemage, not a burst mage. Give her self-healing and sustain, not insane burst. It would fit with her nature theme and enhance her ability to actually take trades using her passive. If you transform into somebody to bait in an enemy, surprise! It's Neeko... aaand you killed her anyway because she is paper. A battlemage playstyle would suit her so much better.

Weigh her Q damage onto the last explosion, not the first, but amp up that damage considerably. This would reward landing both skillshots and proper wave management to get the most out of her damage. Have it heal Neeko with each pulse when she stands inside the zone, counting as a hero hit, giving her a new way to waveclear and sustain as well as a form of protection when she gets dove.

Have her W passive heal Neeko on that third hit instead of dealing damage, increased against champions.

Have her E also reduce enemy damage output for a short duration.

Tone down the damage of her R, but have it leave a zone of spiritual magic that heals Neeko and her allies while they stand inside it, while slowing enemies in the zone.

Done. Battlemage. She'd have less damage, but would be considerably safer and harder to kill, able to sustain through teamfights and offer sustained AoE damage, like a battlemage should.

Why not just nerf her E and Q just like Riot did to Akali?

I think Neeko is fine in mid lane

if she has problems then it's the general mages problems ad enemies buying item 3155 or forcing her to rush item 3191 You know how hellish to play Neeko against a Zed or Talon with item 3030 item 3134 and you're sitting on item 3802 item 3191 in case they didn't get kills , but that's not a Neeko only problem , that's a problem most of mages are suffering with in mid lane also , Mobility creep is pretty damn high that makes her Ult extremely easy to dodge

first of all , Neeko herself doesn't need any buffs/changes , she is fine as she is Her base abilities are very good , her Ultimate is very strong ,Her Ultimate is actually very rewarding to land overall her only problem is having her Ult being easy to walk out or flash/dash out of it So Neeko herself doesn't need buffs , it's up to the meta and items to change

We can honestly just Keep Neeko the way as she is , a fun pick like Lux , fun to play , easy counter play , and doesn't have to be meta honestly she can just stay as she is

These things seem mutually exclusive to me. Riot has dumpstered a secondary lane plenty of times without giving any compensation to the primary lane.

If Neeko's W passive became an OnAttack rather than OnHit stacker that would have zero impact on her mid-lane power.

Because her kit as a burst mage is dogshit, she has an ultimate that she cant land without flash and it's still really telegraphed

I hope they balance Neeko around on hit builds

Very rarely do I use flash as an engage for her ult. U can w r in teamfights or wait for someone else to engage unless u manage to E a good set of targets (which then becomes the easiest ult). Her burst is very high, and comparable to Zoe, just more spread out and in Aoe.

???? Neeko is absolutely fine as is mid.. her kit is versatile af and allows her to play in all 5 lanes quite effectively, nerfs to her on hit build playstyle would likely need Zero consolation buffs because she’s still strong in every role.

seems almost like melees in top lane constant nerfs but nothing to help them versus the adcs and mages.
