Balance Nasus slow already

There is no reason for a champ with infinite scaling damage abilities whos already tanky beyond belief, to have the power to SPAM a 4 second slowing CC... thats straight garbage and you rioters know it

what good is infinite scaling if you have 0 way to apply it? Otherwise, carries would just ignore you entirely, or just kite you to oblivion. Wither makes it so that you can't just completely ignore him.

Also, it's 5 seconds, still giving it less than 50% uptime.

And he would've gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for the Nasus jungle LCS shenanigans back in season 3.

Wither is crucial to his kit. It is only off cool-down early if the player DECIDES to put points into it over spirit fire AND they build CDR (40 or 45%). I put points into wither over spirit fire more often because TOO many champions can escape from me when I am strong. I almost ALWAYS have to have land a second wither to kill someone (or use ghost).

In higher Elos champions do not just sit there after being withered. They try to escape because they KNOW when a Nasus can kill them. They also know NEVER fight Nasus on Nasus' combat terms. Trying to 1v1 Nasus without any ally or some type of CC and/escape by the mid game is the equivalent of suicide.

If wither was not as potent and/or had a long cool-down early Nasus would be even worse than he is now. He would not be able to catch anyone to do lethal damage, and he would not be able to get away from any enemy champions that chased him. He would also be tower doved ALL the time. His base stats and early scaling if really bad and he easily dies to a coordinated tower dive. With the strength of wither he can at least trade, a death for a kill and make divers reconsider their aggression.

Most champions also have a summoner to escape as well. Withering and chasing an enemy with flash is a complete waste of Nasus' time unless he also wants to burn his gap closer to land another wither.

Nasus needs wither to be strong because he would be useless otherwise. No damage would be dealt because people would escape him. That second wither is crucial for a kill, which is why it is potent and has a low cool down.

A LOT champions have ways to dash (over walls some), speed up, or some other means to escape. If any champion has that a second wither is needed for nasus to cap close.

I actually think wither needs to have a slightly farther range. It is an isolated slow and grouping or teamfighting as Nasus is challenging because the targets that need to be withered usually have a shield of tanks. A Nasus cannot get close enough to wither the priority target, hence he is super bad in teamfights because of wither's range and his ability to be kited. Nasus is best in 1v1s and skirmishes, his teamfight is garbage.

There are currently so many ways to escape, and movement speed in the game was relatively high prior patch 6.9.
