Kindred's Passive Feedback

I think Kindred is one of the better champions to be released: not a lot of bugs, reasonably balanced. .

But I'm concerned with Kindred's passive. They feel like such a balanced champion, to me, that given them this "Feast or Famine" curse on their passive; that just seems so opposite of what Riot has been trying to do in the past years.

In my view, forcing an enemy out of lane; denying them CS: that's victory enough. I'm gaining an edge. I don't need to gain some kind of super edge if I also kill them--I'm already in the lead at that point.

Why must Kindred have the need to kill burnt into their design. Because it's also burning them into the jungle at the same time. Yah, you might hunt your lane opponent, but it's going to be hard to hunt jungle monsters, too.

I would much rather have a flexible champion, that can accept a victory beyond death; and I feel like that suits Kindred's spirit more, too: they're someone that kills more for amusement, than for a violent urge. They're an innocent spirit: that's the sense I get playing them, but their passive doesn't jive with that motif.

They are death incarnate, they dont kill for fun... lamb doesnt even know the meaning of "fun" Lamb cant feel anything, only wolf feels, as death they have to kill they have to hunt they dont have a choice that is simply who they are and the sole purpose for their existence what you are seeing as "not jiving" simply when it comes to the lore aspect isnt true, they have to kill in game just like they have to kill in lore. They are death, its what they do, its all they do.

o. . .kay, that's a little extreme. "they are death incarnate" "lamb can't feel anything." "Lamb doesn't even know the meaning of fun?" Lamb laughs. Lamb dances.

Maybe that is in the lore, but that's not the character that I see in game! What I see, is a curious forest spirit, wondering the world with her companion. Nothing about the pair screams "must always kill"

When Nocturn is on the field, you can hear his desperate thirst for blood; he exclaims how wants to kill constantly. Kindred isn't like that; and I don't think her character is that of a killer.

Even Kindred's ult: it prevents -anyone- from dying. How is that the ult of a killer?

Lamb laughs this is true, but she also says "what is it like to feel?" to wolf, the laugh is an imitation of what she see's she does not feel joy. They are not a forest Spirit they are Death, that is not an exaguration that is what they are, they are Runterra's Incarnation of Death, both sides of it. All who die see Kindred, those that go willingly die to Lamb's arrow, those that run from death get Wolfs chase. Lamb's respite is temporary stave off from death for those not yet ready to make the choice, but its just that temporary as all "saves from death" are to the Kindred.

. .well, okay: that's great. But I still don't think this is a healthy passive for anyone to have.

And I can understand that, but in all honesty they arent the only champion in the game that has this "feast or Famine" set up to them. There are quite a few champions, especially carries (which they are), that feel super powerful when ahead but nearly useless when behind, which is actually why Lamb's Respite ultimate is what it is, it exists so that even if they DIDNT get their passive stacks they can still provide some team utility when properly used.
