Riot, I feel discouraged and underwhelmed.

I would like to know what you, Riot, would say to all of us players that have been here a long time, have already spent a lot of time, and money on this game that we love, but we feel keeps taking hits on us constantly.

I'm talking about the Blue Essence changes which after reading community posts, and your own explanations, it just feels like I'm never gonna be able to own all champs now. I don't see any progress on my BE, so why should I play more than 2, 3 games a day? Lvl Up capsules are so incredibily meh to open, they're not really a reward, or at least don't feel like it.

The Orange Essence is even worse. I bought the occasional Hextech Chests when I got spare keys and was honestly happy about the system. Now? Since I'm not gonna get a lot of chests until the season resets cause I only realistically play around 80 champs a season and already got like 45, I'm not gonna be getting any more skin shards to disenchant or upgrade and even if I did my OE gains are so minimal there's no waaaay I'm getting anything from the system soon.

It also seems as if the balance team were on vacation the whole of season 7. Every patch there was another thing that was so frustrating and annoying to deal with it just made me wish the next patch came sooner, but it was always the same. I know that there metas form around some aspect of the game being stronger than the rest and metas shape around this, but there have been strong champs in metas that didn't felt as annoying or frustrating as S7. I also don't know why you won't buff towers, I guess you really just think the game needs to be that sped up for competitive league, but the tower changes in S6 made the game so boring to me when lane swaps were gone and even worse in S7 cause no one wants to fight to not lose a tower at min 7 and the game is so snowbally I just watch to min 10 and know who won and move on with my day.

It's like when in Pokemon Gen V Gamefreak changed weather inducing abilities to apply for the whole battle and make them just a little bit more common and the whole Gen V OU metagame was around weather, and there were only Sand, Rain and Sun teams for 2 years, and Pokemon doesn't get to change their gameplay mechanics every 2 weeks.

I just want maybe a bunch of Rioters to sit and make a video about the issues the community has around the prominent topics that get posted on the boards, cause I'm also kind of bored of the: "We all at Riot listen to you, but we really like what we've done and we've made mistakes but we've learned and maybe we'll fix em, we don't know tho" responses we often get. I know the last part felt salty but that's just how League makes me feel lately and it's not even the preseason changes, those are cool, it's just all that surrounds it.
