ADCs op in an early game meta - is snowballing at fault?

Uh... did I miss something or did we just go straight from games feeling decided too early to ADCs feeling like oppressive, unkillable death machines?

Is it possible that this compresence of seemingly contradictory problems is caused by snowballing being too powerful? Could it be fixed by making turtling* a viable counter to snowballing, for example by making towers actual defence bastions? (I had posted a thread about this some time ago, but it's just one of many ideas that have been posted)

*(since for some reason it seems that other solutions, like for example a complete power nerf across the board for everyone, is out of the question)

I've been saying make towers more tanky, and thats coming from an ADC main. Towers are so easy to kill its funny.

Yeah, but that's just one part of the problem; imho towers also are not something you can feel safe hugging... and if you can't tower hug to defend against even a not-fed enemy, how can you counter a snowballing one? Just let it happen (which may be why the general feeling was/is that games are decided very early)? AFK at base until you can surrender?

I never feel safe hugging my turret anymore. Mostly because I am on bot lane. I am always ready for a 4 or 5 man bot lane express.
