Can Seekers get 10% CDR too please?

This item feels terrible to buy. Atleast give it something so that when we face a Zed and have to rush this item it doesn't feel like a waste of gold

So.

You want it to have 20% CDR. On top of the armor. On top of the AP. On top of it's active.

no.

Unless there's 10% CDR on another part of Zhonya's, I believe they're requesting the CDR be added on to Seeker's when built. This won't add up to 20 since no other components offer CDR. Just like how item 3812 has 10% CDR even though item 3133 is the building component, the CDR on a component doesn't mean it's a bonus, the CDR will stay the same for Zhonya's after being built.

Then that's exactly what they're doing with the mage update, which is remove it from a big ticket AP item (100 AP -> 70 AP or so?) and giving it some CDR for a lower price. Actives longer too I think.

So you can get Zimmerman's powerglass a few minutes earlier and get some CD from it but the active is longer and less total AP.

There IS CDR on another part of Zhonya's. The new version builds out of Fiendish Codex instead of Needlessly Large Rod.

Ok, so I was right in my tentative position earlier about Zhonya's already having CDR, then I can agree about Seeker's not needing it since you're going to be building another source of it to complete the item.

They're gonna nerf Zhonya again anyways, so...

Probably. Mage updates just look like Zed buffs really lol

In my opinion, Seekers is an item that starts weak and then becomes good when you get fully stacked.

If you decide to rush Zhonya's, then you will have a medium sized window of weakness. If you instead choose to finish another item (like Rod of Ages for example), Seekers will get its stacks, and it will be good at helping you with physical damage.

On the other hand Hexdrinker is gold efficient when you buy it and has the passive shield attached. Seeker's is a pretty bad item right now.

Yes, Hexdrinker is a powerful item, but my real problem with it is that its upgrade (Maw) is very powerful in terms of stats.

Before this season, Hexdrinker was a powerful item for AD Bruisers that needed a bit more Magic Resist, but not amazing for the other classes, because Maw didn't offer too many stats outside of MR and AD.

Now look at it... it offers Armor Penetration, that Unique Passive with Lifesteal and Spellvamp along the powerful shield and substantial amount of AD and MR. If you have a problem with a Magic Damage dealer, you automatically buy this item, and don't regret anything, Your trade-offs for buying this item are minimal. The old version of Maw was clearly weaker and built only when you had problem with Magic Damage, but you wanted more damage (compared to Banshee's option). The new one is basically "don't give them a chance while you have almost the same damage potential".

The last thing I want to underline is the fact that Zhonya's is a powerful item. Its active and stats have always been good. Many people just buy it for the AP+Active. Many people still argue if its active is still better than Maw or not, but lets be serious... Zhonya used to be a "must-buy" item for many seasons, with no real problem outside of the awkward buildpath. And Maw gets the spotlight just because of the overbuff it got.

So, in short, I would prefer Zhonya's to have a weaker/bad build path for its powerful active, and the Hexdrinker/Maw should be balanced a bit more to be powerful just in the right situation and with a real trade-off otherwise.

Riot: Sure thing, just let us make some changes.

item 3191 750g Armor- ~~30 ~~20 Ability power- 20 10 10% Cooldown Reduction UNIQUE Passive: killing a unit grants 0.5 bonus Armor and AP. this bonus can stack 30 20 times

Riot: Hope you like it :D

They are just cutting Mage Items in Half while buffing AD Items thrice.

At this time I honestly dont expect RIOT to do any good changes for Mage Items..

Nobody asked for longer cooldown on item 3157 Active and CDR , only thing we asked is for more Armor and less cost.

Honestly Release version of item 3157 was the best version, its sad what happened to it now..
