Because you're not doing anyone favours and are pretty much low-key forcing a loss on people by not playing the standard.

the problem is.... like 20 people know what the ranked 3s meta is. It has changed so many times that I dont remember what it is anymore. For a while it was Duo top solo bot. There was a time where it was solo solo jungle. There was a time where bot was duo. hell there was a time that it was jungle and Duo top and bot was just a farm lane where the junglers would occasionally go down there and stop the minions from murdering their tower

I've been interested in starting ranked 3v3's but I'm not familiar with the meta or how to play the map, could anyone give me some tips?

Typically you want a brusier top, like darius renekton kled, a mage bot, like swain ziggs morgana ekko, then either another brusier or full damage junlge so, Olaf Graves Xin Zhao Jax Master Yi warwick. Be sure to use pings and constsnt keep an eye on the mini map, if the enemy top laner disappears they make be going to invade your jungle with their top and jungler, or might be doing a 3 man gank bot. So map awareness is very important considering the map is smaller so less time to react to mini map information. Dont go for the spider, vilemaw, until you have the top lane shoved so that the enemy minions dont see your team taking vilemaw. Contest alters when you have the advantage, when you are behind just control your alter.
