What a joke this game has become, honestly.
I thought everyone complaining about the game was just not giving it enough time, but it's such bullshit now. Bases are getting pushed on before 20 minutes, and we have to forfeit tower control because we're not allowed to purchase homeguards anymore. No, we have to wait until they're on our nexus turrets to be able to engage on them, for sure.
Damage is out of control, and it's not worth it to play a bruiser or tank anymore because it's simply not satisfying. There's no real way to protect against the absurd damage ramping. There's absolutely no space for personal skill expression anymore, either. One lane loses and they snowball from there, even if you take "reverse-snowball objectives" like Rift Herald or Baron.
In my last two games, I didn't even get to build a second item fully before they were knocking on the doors to our base. What nonsense is this?
And Rioters, you want suggestions instead of idle ranting? Fix damage values. Add in more rewarding/satisfying runes for tanks. Damage dealers get access to Dark Harvest, Aerie, Press the Attack -- What do tanks get? +5 Armor or +5 MR. Or they get to delay resistances until 10 minutes -- well past when the games are decided these days. In addition, tune down the damage. With how much free damage you get in Sorcery or Domination, there's no real reason to play anything but a damage dealer. Even Aerie, a support-focused keystone, dishes out about 2k damage a game.
tl;dr: Tune down damage, make playing a tanky build more satisfying, allow more options for personal skill expression (i.e: give us more tools to help bring our team to victory instead of bogging us down with up to four people who may not even know how to play the game well in a particular way)
