Tips for playing against Hecarim (in general)?

Tips for playing against Hecarim (in general, no particular position)? His extreme speed makes warding seem sort of pointless almost because he can just charge through with enough speed that you can't back by the time you'd see him anyways. In addition, he can just charge right through most places, making deep wards feel useless too. Dueling with him feels painful too, because it feels like he does really high damage.

Not a QQ thread, just wanted honest tips for how to play against him since I'm bad at the game.

I play alot of Hecarim and this is what people do that make me have a bad day:

super early invades or ganks. Hecarim isn't a good duelist at levels 1-4 and he gets low during his first clear. Take an early game jungler , hunt him down and kill him in his own jungle. Otherwise, if you get a super early gank on a snowbally lane, there's not much Hecarim can do since he has to melee them - and nobody wants to melee a fed .
Deep wards. If you ward deep, you will have advance warning of Hecarim coming. Hecarim needs to get fed or AFK farm to be a mid-late game threat; making him waste time on failed ganks means he is neither farming nor getting fed and his mid-game, which should be a gigantic power spike, is going to be just OK, which leads to a bad late game.
Stagger positioning. If the ADC, mid and support position such that you can only fear one of them at a time (how frontliners position is not that importantfor Hecarim since he ults over them to the backline anyhow) then it becomes extremely hard to kill any single one of them, since the mid and support can peel for each other and both can peel for the ADC.
Super tanks. Hecarim is not a tank melter and in fact is defeated by tanks. He is almost completely specialized to fight squishies. There is nothing he can do against 1v1 and he isn't that good at peeling them off carries either, since then he wastes his dive potential.
Melee ADCs. Hecarim is destroyed by melee autoattackers like since he is an AD caster with strong base damage but weak sustained damage and no lifesteal outside W. Fights against melee ADCs tend to be sustained and require some sort of extreme DPS or sustain steroid - Hecarim doesn't have them.

I've probably seen people take slowing effects (like item 3025 , item 3116 , item 3092 ) vs Hecarim and I wouldn't be surprised if some hard CC is effective as well. This is a guess.
