What made Vayne op again?

Buffs to her Q and a new full crit build. That and the removal of pink wards.

They buffed her Q Crit when she was already fine balance wise, then they put her into a Meta that favors her.

Its the lack of real counterplay to her stealth now, along with the q crit dmg, once late game roles around theres very little someone can do about a good vayne as she will show up, kill your adc in an aa or 2, disappear, kill your mid, and just kite the shit outta your tanks

Vayne's Q got buffed, increasing the bonus damage per level from 5% to 10%. Q's multiplication was fine when she built BorK but now that BorK is pretty bad and players are avoiding it taking Warlord's to make up for the sustain and stacking crit instead, well that with other ADCs being nerfed and with the nerf to armor pen. which reduced early game strength... people are having issues.

This is why champions like Quinn and are necessary to contain the evil that is Vayne.

Vayne has always been op but now more than ever since we don't fucking have pinks and every other assassin more or less got nerfed.

She's the last of them.

Q changes probably, it would certainly give her a more well rounded build option that relied less on raw AS.

Changes to stealth I would guess are a pretty minor influence, given she could only stealth in conjuncture with her ult. (Twitch is more affected by changes in stealth and assassination items.)

But I think more generally speaking, the lethality changes made the Early game bullies a lot less effective, putting her in favor of the meta.

bug fix to her Q followed by buff to her Q followed by removal of effective stealth detection.

Buffed Q combined with nerfs to early game champs that prey on her.

Removal of Pinks didn't help.

Multiple buffs and the changes to armor penetration nerfing her bullies.

70 % of AD on Q. Combined with 250% of AD on Q with a crit. W passive used to be her big power. It still works but squishies will die before she uses 3rd hit.
