Nocturne's Ultimate Change

Here's an observation about Nocturne's Ultimate. Why does the vision loss go away right when Nocturne dashes to someone rather than remaining for its full duration if he never dashed? Just curious to see community thoughts.

They should keep the vision reduction for the whole duration, removal of the vision reduction during dash isnt intended, i think Riot never knew about this .

Yeah i was discussing another change to his ult with a friend who was playing since season 2 (idk when Nocturne came out, but he was playing League at that point), and he said this always bugged him about Nocturne ult. It would make sense that it stay as it instills a larger sense of paranoia and fear in the enemy team since they can't see their partner be killed if they are separated. It wouldn't really affect teams at a pro level because they can talk to each other via comms programs.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't go away :\

I was discussing this with a friend and he said it does. He plays (played) Nocturne quite a lot a little while ago. Maybe there was a recent change that undid that, I may not be aware of it. If so, no big deal. I'll pull this down :)

idk I don't think I've ever had vision after he dashes. I've always had to look around in a team fight to see who he jumped on.

However - don't take my word for it, I might be wrong.

If his vision reduction does get removed after he dashes, then it would be worth promoting that it stays as it would create one of those tough choices where you don't immediately dash to preserve the vision penalty longer.

The vision denial stays for 4 seconds. It never runs out until the spell duration is over.
