Hadrian Champion Idea (name still in progress....actually everything in progress)
Throughout my hours of playing League I have thought up several ideas for champions, this is just one of them.
Lore: Upon the proving grounds of Summoner's Rift Zed was once again demonstrating his combat prowess. Back and forth he dashed from shadow to shadow as they slowly faded away....except for one. It did not do anything and was un-responsive to Zed's commands, it merely stood there. After the battle was over the League Summoners took a closer look at the shadow only to realize that, while it was a shadow, it was not of Zed. This one did not have the physical appearance of Zed and had some crucial differences. It had two big eyes that glowed bright white, alongside a bright white, wicked smile. When questioned, it claimed that it's name was Hadrian, but it did not know from where it came, or for what purpose. Theories danced back and forth in the League and test after test was run on the shadow. It appeared that this shadow, summoned by Zed, was somehow possessed by an unknown source. It was sentient and, while not directly violent, certainly had a...wicked personality to it. Like many of the other curiosities it had stumbled across the League decided to bind it to a summoner crystal and keep under close watch.
Passive: Enemies near Hadrian have a decreased sight range.
Q: Hadrian spreads his shadow from target to target, doing a small amount of damage and decreasing their sight ranges. If an enemy minion that is targeting Hadrian is harmed this way, it will instantly pick a new target, or will resume pushing lane.
W: Hadrian dashes to his target, appearing on the opposite side and blinding them for 1 second.
E: Hadrian hurls his shadow to target enemy champion. If they are hit, they will receive damage over time and their sight range will be reduced to 0 for 2 seconds.
R: Hadrian possesses a target for a maximum of 6 seconds. If the target is an enemy (champion or minion) their movement speed will be decreased. If what he is possessing dies while, he also dies. He can reactivate this ability to stop possessing his target.
Obviously there is some development still needed on this. For example, I am unsure as to make him a energy fighter (he did kinda come from Zed after all) or to make his use mana, or to just make him a cooldown champion (he IS a shadow thing). -His passive should decrease enemies sight range enough to allow him to attack the first creep in a minion wave without being seen by the enemy, however, it should not allow him to absolutely dominate the lane. -If Hadrian possesses an enemy, and an ally kills that target, Hadrian will die and the enemy champion will receive a kill, the same would apply for minions. -I still need some hard numbers on this, like ranges, health/resource, cooldowns, etc.
Thanks for listening...erm....I mean reading!
