(Champion Concept) Lilian, The Call of the Wild

Hi this is my fourth champion concept! (I'm on a roll recently) please check out my other concepts Dragos, The creature of the night, Milan, The Knowledge Scientist, and Rion, The Demacian Drone!

Now on to this design, I am looking for constructive criticism. And almost any type of feedback, as long as it is at least kind of constructive. Now I present to you, Lilian, The Call of the Wild.

a Little bit about Lilian. She is a ranged spell caster who fills the rolls of jungle and support. She calls upon tribes to dish out high damage, but also heals her carries.

All tribes give vision/have a set vision range. Also they have a set leash distance (the same as Tibbers/ Mordekaiser's Ghost).


Passive: Damage dealt by Lilian's tribes heal herself and a nearby allied champion for 20/30/40% of the damage. at levels 1/7/16. Tribes will continue attacking their target for up to 6 seconds after Lilian has been slain.

Also whenever Lilian spawns a second tribe of the same type (2 wolf tribes, 2 golem tribes or 2 drake tribes), the first tribe instantly loses 75/65/50% of their max health. Levels 1/7/16.

Additionally Lilian uses health instead of Mana to cast her spells.


Q, ability one, Call of the wolves: Lilian summons a wolf tribe at targeted location. The wolf tribe consists of ranks: 3 omega wolves (the little blue ones)/ 2 wolves (gray in between omega and alpha) and 1 omega/ 2 wolves, 1 alpha (the orange ones)/1 wolf, 2 alphas/ 3 alphas

Omega wolves:

hp: 30/60 (+.7 ability power)

attack damage: 20/40 (+.7 ability power)

critical strike chance: 15/20% (+.1 ability power)

gives 3/4 gold if slain


Wolves:

Hp: 90/120/180 (+.7 Ability Power)

Attack damage: 60/80/100 (+.7 ability power)

Critical Strike Chance: 20/25/30% (+.1 ability power)

Gives 5/6/7 gold if slain


Alpha wolves:

hp: 200/300/350 (+.9 ability power)

attack damage: 70/90/110 (+.7 ability power)

critical strike chance: 30/35/40% (+.1 ability power)

gives 8/9/10 gold if slain.

Wolves are fast (360/370/380/390/400 movement speed) and Can be ordered/controlled by holding Q and clicking on a target/location.

If they have no orders they lock onto targets in this order: Enemy champions, Large monsters, Siege minions, small monsters, minions.

Wolves last until slain or for 20 seconds (+1 second every 75 ability power). Lilian can have up to 2 wolf packs out at a time.

Costs: 60/70/80/90/100 health

Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10 seconds


W, ability 2, Call of the Golem: Lilian summons a Large stone Golem monster at targeted location stunning nearby enemies for .25/.5/.75/1/1.25 seconds (+.1 seconds every 100 ability power). and dealing an initial damage of 10/20/30/40/50(+.3 ability power).

Stone Golem:

Hp: 200/300/400/500/600 (+1 ability power)

Attack damage: 40/60/90/120/150 (+.5 ability power)

Gives 10/11/12/13/14 gold if slain.

Golems are very slow (270/280/290/300/310 movement speed) but deal high amounts of damage. Golems can be ordered/controlled by holding W and clicking on a target/location.

If they have no orders Golems lock onto targets in this order: Enemy champions, Large monsters, Siege minions, small monsters, minions.

Golems last until slain or for 30 seconds (+1 second every 50 ability power). Lilian can have up to 2 stone golems out at a time.

Costs: 70/80/90/100/110 Health

Cooldown: 20/19/18/17/16 seconds


E, third ability, Call of the Drake: Lilian summons a few small drakes at targeted location. drake numbers 1/1/2/2/2.

Drakes:

Hp: 100/200/300/400/450 (+1 ability power)

magic damage: 25/30/35/40/45 (+.2 ability power)

the attacks of drakes slow and deal true damage over 6 seconds. Damage over time: 20/25/30/35/40 (+.4 ability power) true damage.

Slow: 15/20/25/30/35 (+ 1% every 15 ability power caps at 90% slow).

drakes give 6/6/7/7/8 gold

Drakes are fast but not as fast as wolves (340/350/360/370/380 movement speed) but slow enemies and deal true damage and magic damage. Also drakes cannot be targeted by spells and take 40% damage from area of effect spells. They take the most damage from basic attacks. Drakes can be ordered/controlled by holding E and clicking on a target/location.

If they have no orders Drakes lock onto targets in this order: Enemy champions, Large monsters, Siege minions, small monsters, minions.

Drakes last for 25 seconds (+1 second every 50 ability power). Can have up to 2 drake tribes at the same time.

Costs: 65/75/85/95/105 Health

Cooldown: 20/19/18/17/16


R, ability 4, Call of the Tribe Leaders: Lilian empowers her next tribe with a Tribe Leader, replacing one of the tribe members (if wolf pack it will pick alpha, then wolf, then omega if now alphas are present) with a tribe leader. Lilian can only have ONE Tribe Leader present at a time.

Mega Wolf: When Lilian empowers a wolf tribe a Mega Wolf replaces an alpha wolf (or omega if no alpha's are present)

Hp: 500/600/800 (+1 ability power)

Attack damage: 100/200/300 (+.7 ability power)

Critical strike chance: 15/25/35% (+.1 ability power)

Gold upon killing 30/40/50

Lasts for 50/65/80 seconds.


Diamond Golem: When Lilian empowers a Golem tribe a Diamond Golem replaces the Stone Golem

Hp: 600/1000/1600 (+1 ability power)

Attack damage: 100/150/200 (+.5 ability power)

Gold upon killing 30/40/50

Lasts for 60/70/80 seconds.


Giant Dragon: When Lilian empowers a Drake tribe a Giant Dragon replaces a Drake.

Hp: 500/700/900 (+1 ability power)

Magic Damage: 100/200/300 (+.5 ability power)

Damage over time: 40/50/60 (+.2 ability power) true damage

Slow effect 40/45/50% (+1% every 15 ability power caps at 90% slow)

Gold upon killing 30/40/50

Lasts for 60/70/80 seconds.

Costs: 100/125/150 Health

Cooldown: 130/110/90 seconds.

Control tribe leaders by holding R and clicking on target/location. If no orders then tribe leaders will attack targets in this order: Whatever is attacking Lilian, Enemy champions, Large monsters, Siege minions, small monsters, minions.

Edit 1: changed mana costs to scale up instead of down! tidied up a bit.


Edit 2: nerfed passive. also Jungle items would have half efficiency on these tribes. TURRETS WOULD TAKE 1/3 DAMAGE FROM TRIBES AND DEAL X2.5 DAMAGE TO THEM!!!! Also movement speed scales now.

Health Regen: 5.3 (+.45/level)

Range: 565 (Ranged)

Attack Damage: 49 (+2.6/level)

Attack Speed: 0.625 (+2.155%/level)

Armor: 9 (+4/level)

Magic Resist: 30

Movement Speed: 340

Edit 4:

Clarification: Tribes follow her if no nearby enemies are present. The tribes will not randomly attack neutral monsters unless Lilian attacks the neutral monsters first.

Appearance: kind of like lulu, a bit taller, a black fedora instead of sorcerer's hat. Has a Wooden staff that she kinda hits the ground with every time she summons a tribe. brown hair/long. Green eyes.


Skin(s): Necromancer Lilian, black cloths, black eyes, black hair, skull on top of wooden staff, each tribe is changed.

Wolf tribe -> Skeletal Wolves

Golem Tribe -> Bone Golem/Bone Splitter Golem

Drake Tribe -> Skeletal Drake, Skeletal Dragon


Edit 5: true damage reduced, Added "Wolf" to the wolf pack. Edited wolf tribe numbers from 4 to 3. Added another item to her passive, whenever she spawns a second tribe of the same type the first tribe loses 75/65/50% of their maximum health. reduced time that tribes stay alive, made time scale slightly with ability power.

Clarification, Tribes WILL lock onto towers but they are the lowest priority.

Edit 8:

Lilian now will use Health instead of Mana. Changed all of her mana values to health. increased base health by 15. increased Health scale by 5. Removed the gold give from her tribes. Added that tribes will continue to attack their targets for UP TO 6 seconds after Lilian has been slain.

Lilian now has control over her MINIONS! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

quite an interesting concept but she would have amazing sustain in mid lane so maybe the healing part could be brought down a bit?

This is a really cool concept. Bringing jungle monsters into lanes is a fairly unique idea. I wonder would the jungle items be effective against Lilian's summoned monsters?

Just a little input from me: instead of making mini drakes, why not use elder lizards? I think it would balance a bit better with wolves and golems. Just my opinion.

I think the sheer number of minions she can spawn is too much.
All of these minions are blockades for enemies, 3 of them have CC, all of them heal her. How do you intend to reach her with skill shots or generally anything ?
Only assassins would be useful against her, and as first item I would always rush Rylai's.
This concept is good, I'm just saying maybe you should lower the number of tribes she can have at once. Maybe placing a second same tribe kills the first one, or causes them to lose 20 percent of their max health every second or something.

this is a great idea, i really like it, although i cant put my finger on exactly what but it might need a few balance changes? idk, it seems like a very strong kit, like yorick, if all his ghouls popped out for every ability, and on crack.

This feels like Elise in spider mode with her spiderlings in tow. With the ability to summon like this, I think the cd on the summons needs to be vastly increased. Just kinda going through this in my head it looks like you would just spam minions ontop of a turret and take it down far too quickly and easily. Almost like Yorick in a sense with just more ghosts that do not fade away like his do over time.

There maybe should be a penalty to summon more monsters in accordance to how many have been slain in a certain time frame to prevent the abilities being spammed onto a turret for example to take them down with no real threat to the champion themselves. That I think will be the biggest hurdle to balance here.

I could see the abilities giving an upgraded version of the summon, but I do not like the concept of there being multiple summons out at the same time. I think using Q while the wolves are already out should replace them outright with new summons instead of only fading away the ones already there, and that is because of the issue I see with being able to just spam summon a turret/enemy.

Passive, gives a debuff to each summon when one is killed within the last 3 minutes. Lets say a -2.5% penalty to each summon for each stack with a maximum of 10 stacks.

Q, W, and E: at skill level 3 and then again at skill level 5 the summon gets a visual upgrade. The color could possibly change to differentiate a level 1 from 2 and 3 from 4 summon as well.

R: the available special summon would change. At rank 1 it would be a really big wolf, rank 2 it would be a big golem, and rank 3 it would be a big dragon. This summon would be the only one that would not replace another summon that is already out on the field. Another possibility would be that the special summon would just be an uber version of the summon that is currently out on the field.

I think it would be cool if her tribes' health was flat 1 to 1 ap, while her tribes' attack was percentage so it scaled with mag-pen. It would just make it so you could make your "pets" meat shields, or assassins. Also what if her ult was her transforming into whatever monster was present at the time. She could also have separate abilities for each morph ie: Dragon autos could be bites or scratches, 1 ability could be a fireball a lot like parrrrley with a short cooldown, crit chance, and the ability to do things like the statikk shank. Another fireball could be like ezreal's w, except instead of mobility buffs/handicaps it could be a burn/regenerate (in small amounts) it could also be like her monsters where for stronger regen, it's flat ap, for stronger burn, it's mag-pen. Lastly a fireball that is a straight skill-shot nuke. She obviously wouldn't have an ult in dragon form, because it woul be like shyvanna's not nidalee and elise's.

I think she should have some relation to nidalee in lore and stuff like that. Also what if her monsters did more or less damage to monsters in the jungle. For instance her wolves would do less to golems, (seriously they'd be biting rock) But her golems took less damage to wolves? Wolves could do more to dragon and lizards, and drakes could do more to golems. (for some unbeknown reason) However they should all have the advantage against baron, making her very threatening late game. Lastly if in dragon mode (talking about my ult suggestion) she took less damage from shyvana, same with wolves and warwick, and golems and blitzcrank.

I find that on the ultimate tribes, the scaling is WAY to overpowered. If a lilian builds 600 ap, then the ultimate mobs will have 600 mote hp. tune down a little bit please!

I always wanted the game to have a such champion but then the game cud become unbalanced as the creatures she summon could be too powerful and these drakes deal a lot of true damage, so it should have a lot of cool-down. I also think she can summon too many wolves later in the games so you could reduce the time they last or reduce the amount and maybe use them likeitem 3023 to slow enemies or maybe when a wolf attack his or her armor or MR is reduced Also as she is a support type I really think that she could be likeYorick

Yorick 's E heals him so instead Lilia can heal her allies for example with the golemns.

I feel like this would be way too much to handle at the early levels. Think about any one of the skills, and a level one fight. Looking at the wolves, taking them at level one would I feel like demolish another bot laner since they last 20 seconds.

-sigh- alright, ill agree that the concept is interesting, maybe replace the drakes wit wraiths since they're a small camp too, also i dont think anyone would paly her as a support, bot lane sure, but would def be going for ap, level one could def pop enemy flash with that e , the stats you gave the summonds are too high, it'd be like a lvl 10+ yorick at lvl 1, seems like a champ riot would make, broken, but yea just work on the stats, also, if they could be targeted by turrets, then op backdoor, just summon to take the shots,
