Currently, TSM is secured a spot at worlds no matter if they win or lose the final against CLG.
CLG, however, if they lose to TSM and TL wins against TIP (which is likely what will happen), CLG will have to go through a gauntlet to get the third seed into worlds. I like CLG. Easily my second favorite team. I want both teams to go to worlds, and the only way that's happening is if CLG wins against TSM.

TL was the top team, and beat CLG a number of times through the split.. Then TSM beats TL? Easy game easy life. I know that TSM is gonna win, it's just a more optimal situation if CLG does. TSM is and always will be the better team in the end.

CLG are least feel like a unit, not a Solo Queue-esque team that relies on Dyrus, Bjergsen or Turtle doing a good play or rather a pick off enemy team screwing up, or stealing a baron with a Jinx rocket. That's the game plan?
You think FNATIC, EDG, SKT or any top team of their regions are gonna open up those spaces for solo plays? What I wish is for neither TSM nor C9 to attend Worlds this year, because some serious shake up needs to happen withing both organizations. They are mediocre teams at best right now. CLG... AT LEAST they feel like a unit, so I'll be rooting for them.
Wouldn't surprise me to get a 3 - 1 in favor of TSM anyway. It is what they do.

You're contradicting yourself. You said that there's no way TSM could win, then you say it wouldn't be surprising for TSM to win? You do realize that the better team wins best of 5s.. CLG simply isn't as big of a powerful force as TSM is, but they will be if they give that roster a year.

TSM is by no means a bad team. You're just super salty xD Sure, they lost. But they're still going to worlds, and so is CLG. I want TSM to get better, and want them to keep improving.. But saying they're a bad team because they lost one series is a huge stretch.
Also, TSM got a win off against Samsung Galaxy White.. Something VERY few teams could pull off. Get off your damn high horse and look at the big picture. You look like an idiot.

Wake up. TSM today is a bad team, and if you love the team, you should be demanding more of them, not pampering such a failure. You seem passionate, and you deserve more than Dyrus teleporting to a brush 4v5 to a lost fight. You seriously are ok with their current state? You ask me to look at the big picture?
But ok, if you still think they are a good team, I won't try to change your mind anymore. I just think you guys are one of the most awesome fanbase in the LCS, and you deserve so much more than today's display. I was bashing on C9 a while ago for the exact same thing. Such a meaningful brand as TSM shouldn't be treated as it is. They have a prestige they are not respecting. They haven't innovated since Katowice in spring, and it came back to chase them today.
I'm not being salty, I'm just passionate about competitive league. I play in NA, I want the region to send off their best teams, and if TSM are gonna play as they did today, it's not gonna be pretty. For both C9 and TSM, it's time to bust their bubble and shake things up hardcore.

You.. Do realize that this is competitive play at the highest level? Quadras and Pentas happen VERY rarely and ADC is one of the least important roles in the current meta with top and jungle being in control. Look at the MVP. It was Rush, a jungler.
Good for CLG. They made it and exceeded expectations. Upsets happen all the time. But don't give me your BS about TSM being a "bad team".

At the current state, I can easily see why people will say TSM is a bad team or to not bring up the past. They have many issues in the top lane and jungle. However, it isn't fair to say CLG is at a higher level after beating TSM in the finals. We have to wait to see their performance at Worlds and upcoming seasons.

Droogzy2 votesGive TSM credit, they realized midway through the season they rely too heavily on Bjerg and they are trying to become a triple threat with Dyrus, Bjerg and Wildturtle. Problem is, the other two are not quite up to the caliber needed to be considered a triple threat.
CLG I think poses a chances to run deep in the world, they play as a team and this series showed it, Zion got MVP, but honestly, its a slap in the face to the rest of the team to say he was the single best player, their entire team was on point.
Droogzy2 votesExcept CLG has step down on the gas pedal ever since they broke out of their slump. This isn't just a lucky run they got going.
Their biggest weakness was how they would get overconfident and make overly aggressive plays that ended up backfiring, They are doing that still, but to a significantly less degree and when they usually do it, they're almost always so far in gold lead that it almost doesn't matter if they have one slip up.
The synergy between Aphromoo and XSmithie is unmatched by few other duos right now in the LCS, the shoutcasters even made a comment about that.
ZionSpartan is a monster in the top lane, he has a massive champion pool and he can play carry top laners so well. I don't think there are many if any top laners in the NA LCS at least who could have made that amazing outplay he did using Gnar against the Naut/Yasuo coming after him.
Doublelift, as much as I dislike his trash talking and his character, his performance is starting to live up to his words and has really cut down on his over aggression which was often the reason that would cost CLG games like this.
This is the most complete and strongest the players on CLG have been in years.
TSM may not be the team they used to be a year ago, but they are certainly no pushover and its incredibly stupid to not give credit to CLG for playing so dominantly. TSM is a strong team nonetheless, they just need to adjust their playstyle and its not something that happens overnight.
People are calling this an upset but honestly, my money was on CLG from the get go, I would have been shocked to have seen TSM win this series, CLG has reached a new level of playing that they haven't hit before.
P.S. C9 fan, dislike CLG and TSM, so not a fan boy of either in particular.
If you look at all 5 position, you could make a case that 3 of the five position, the top player in the NA of that respective role is on CLG. ZionSpartan makes a very strong case, Aphromoo, no questions about it, and DoubleLift, with the way he's been playing lately has recently thrown his hat into the ring. Don't discredit CLG's success as being a fluke.
Think about this, their weakest link is most likely XSmithie. That's fucking scary to think about as a team playing against them.
