Why did CLG lose this time?

I am far from a pro, and I think its funny when people call these kinds of teams bad. But i sat there watching the game scratching my head thinking, "What it is with these picks". Now, I do not think the individual picks were any bad. I think xsmithy on Evelynn is legendary, and we all know zion's Gnar is top notch. But I do not see how did those pieces fell into the puzzle. Yes, Dlift got caught in many occasions (as usual) but i just cant see how was CLG expecting to win a team fight with that comp. TSM's team comp is solid. It is very predictable, but it works. I think in this lv of play every team should know their and the enemy's weaknesses/ strengths. I expect more from CLG, but i guess the curse is real. The next few weeks are going to be very difficult for them if they do not shape up.

They. Are. Choke. Artists.

CLG has been a team that is prone to tilting and choking since it first came into existence. I'd say that it was clear that all of the players on CLG are at fault, but the one common factor is Dlift. His mechanical skills are amazing, but his positioning is frequently garbage for a pro player, especially a pro player that people ever called the "best adc".

That doesn't go into how CLG is utterly and completely reliant on getting ahead to win with how they play right now. If they are tied/behind by midgame they lose. Some teams have shown the ability to come back, but CLG just doesn't seem to have it unless they manage to somehow drag out laning and benefit from Aphromoo's ability to roam and their laners ability to win lanes.

I think it is honestly because TSM is a better team fighting team. Through out the split TSM has struggled through the early game which made their wins sloppy and their losses down right disappointing because their team fights tended to be really sloppy. However, they played the early game relatively well against CLG which allowed for them to team fight well. They were able to play their comp the way they wanted to.

Ok it's not really champ picks that did it. It was mistakes.

CLG has the tendency to make these mistakes on critical moments. Losing one kill early at 30sec into the game isn't huge, it doesn't impact the game. Dying a sec before a dragon fight does

Also; every time this match up occurred, TSM proved to be more mechanically better. They are better at team fighting. Dyrus is the only one that I can't say that for. This is why c9 was always in top with TSM. These teams have better mechanical playersz should I say had for c9 ? They rarely make these critical error on crucial moments.

xmithie is legendary on Eve only because he knows how to use her passive. he was stealthed 100% of that game. Seriously he was awful lol. he's probably the main reason why they lost

If Xmithie picked Nunu instead of Eve I think that could have changed the early part of the game...

CLG always pulls the mid-season choke. Law of life, constant as gravity. This was a pretty piss poor weekend for them. They completely blew their lead and showed that TSM is still top NA, which is SAD because TSM had a horrible showing at MSI. TSM always does horrible internationally. I don't want them being our one and only hope at worlds, because they'll disappoint again.
