Every major region has won worlds but NA
Eu, LMS, LCK and now the LPL

Well to be fair, NA needs to split the country. They need East/West/Central servers for America. Split the regions into LA Chicago and NY and work on getting ping averages for most players below 20, and you will see NA improve. Also, people not being bitches and being willing to talk work and grow at the competitive level in diamond Challenger would be nice too. My favorite thing from world's was all the NA players talking about "Omg Solo Queue players talk to each other after games and discuss in game decisions and compositions!". Yes it's called a region wanting to be competitive and willing to work for it. NA just want the results and don't care about the team, they want the glory of saying "look how awesome I am!". It's why Doublelift always falls apart at world's. He has no trust in his team, and makes aggressive moves at inopportune moments and gets punished. Like him walking up to a Mid laner with all their spells up when he's a level down and half health and then acting surprised that he dies.
EU won before the Koreans joined the tournament, so that really doesn’t count.
NA is to busy smurfing to get that competitive. Any potential new player will have to deal with a wave of players who are at least gold who got tired of improving and just want to rofl stomp newbies.
but on the other side of the coin this is the furthest an NA team has made it. C9 being in semi finals and getting out of their group was quite a feat
i mean everyone says season 1 worlds doesnt really count. i kinda agree with it. tho fnc got the skins and the rings and the trophy so yeah we won worlds but... eeeeehhhh.
oh well.
i think the main problem of NA was always the fact that they keep importing players and kinda fire them once they do poorly.
Its becuase NA is a shit region in terms of competitiveness.
The fact that most players here are sensitive to flame/criticism and a vast majority of players play for fun( "4fun" btw). NA just dosent stand a chance.
There's a reason I was calling that hopeful final between C9 and IG a "battle for the region's first." It wasn't meant to demean or anything in the end though.
Yes toxic fans will go on and use this as fuel from now on until they do. But I'm just not going to write any team out if they're showing the right effort to give me trust in them. Worked this year.
There's just too many takeaways. And using the season 1 debate and the semis not good enough shtick just feels petty.
