Ask EU fans if Huni / Reignover were EU or KR, they'll answer EU. But of course, if you ask them if Bjergsen is NA or EU, they'll answer EU.
They're just more abrasive in culture.
Both regions have idiots. If I watch EU LCS Chat and someone fail flashes: "EU Flash" If I watch NA LCS Chat and someone fail flashes: "NA Flash"

Its just a rivalry. NA and EU are the most cross communicative regions with each other so its not an obsession but a little interesting rivalry of sorts the pro regions share. Alot of NA players are from EU and vice versa so that connection builds up.
Cause the most hilarious jokes are about NA's performance in Worlds.
NA pays amazingly well for lcs players even in low tier teams. Rekkless confirms the dark truth behind the LCS in EU in this video im about to share. EU LCS branch is actually the poorest out of all the top tier regions. Where Rekkles claims even in FNATIC the best paying team in EU can be out bought by low tier NA teams, Rekkless claims the pay is so low to the point if NA gave him a offer he would take it.
Ohh the irony in the title.

Most of NA have ancestors from EU and made a better life, so EU is still salty about it. Oh and NA bailed them out durring W W 2. =)
EU's still salty we called french fries "freedom fries."
