Ask EU fans if Huni / Reignover were EU or KR, they'll answer EU. But of course, if you ask them if Bjergsen is NA or EU, they'll answer EU.

They're just more abrasive in culture.

Huni and Reignover are KR. But there were 3-4 non EU players in the last season EU LCS (Ryu, and the few games of H0R0 after Kikis left UoL)

The problem is that basically Eu and NA make similar claims, banter, etc, except for the fact that only EU can back-up their ones with actual facts most of the time and make NA fans worse because it add some delusiional flair to their claims NA accusing EU teams of getting carried by foreign players is simply false, the other way around is not false given the low amount of good Na players in LCS. NA claiming that low-mid tier EU teams were bad and no team was good other than FNC and OG last season is false, the other way around is true

I wouldn't listen to fanboys of both sides, and unnecessaary banter, shittalking, etc..., but is undoubtedly that more often than not NA has nothing to back-up the shittalking they do, while Eu has some facts to back it up

The only time I remember NA actually bashing on EU is when Kabum beat Alliance.

Well, at that IEM GE(then Koo) Tigers was eliminated by Team WE that was a team that on his good day could beat anyone because of the talent they had, and on bad day lose to mediocre team And to be honest, the teams that were at that IEM weren't anymore the best teams in their region at the time Katowice was held, which was several weeks later the time the teams was selected because of their ranking. The only number 1 team in their region was TSM The other teams were #2 NA (C9), #3/4 and #5 EU (Sk and Gambit), #2 LMS (FW), #2 and #3 KR, in a Spring Split where the bottom half was KR was honnestly bad (Koo and CJ) and #6/7 China (WE) The best team TSM beaten at that IEM was probably Flash Wolves, as they basically always met WE on their bad day and CJ was yet on the downfall

The subsequent events confirmed the fact that Katowice was a fluke due by the fact that TSm was the team in the best shape, or close to the best shape, and the competition was surprisingly poor or on bad shape (SK immediately after locking the 1st spot in EU to qualify for Katowice went through slump, and about that time CJ starting their decline as well), so yeah, in hindsight EU fans were right

We got back again to the point, both reason go whit shittalk, but EU ones are more often than not backed-up by facts, NA one are not

The only time I remember NA actually bashing on EU is when Kabum beat Alliance.

Na fans bashed on EU for entire S5, even after MSI, and back in time there were other times like for example when there was Battle of the Atlantic where EU won more games despite Lemondogs organizational issues - with NA basically getting a free win with Lemondogs showing p with a squad assembled at last second and lemondogs shortly after failing to retain their LCS spot - and NA won only because of point system and the before mentioned free win given by Lemondogs...basically every time they had a slightest chance to do it, they did

Don't try to act like NA fans act in a superior way, NA fans do the same as EU fans...except NA has obtained considerably far worse results in the entire LOL history, and so their claims/banter/shittalk lokk even more ridicoulous

How, exactly? I have judged the fanboys of both regions exactly in the same way NA in your eyes have done "less", and I have told you that they couldn't had the chances to do it so, because NA simply wasn't as good as EU historically

Its just a rivalry. NA and EU are the most cross communicative regions with each other so its not an obsession but a little interesting rivalry of sorts the pro regions share. Alot of NA players are from EU and vice versa so that connection builds up.

There probably aren't a lot of players who would WANT to play on EU anyway. The instability and lag spikes one gets there combined with a fairly non existent Riot Team (on the boards, we have 2-3 people writing every once in a blue moon, namely being: Riot 'Croissant' Cosantair, Riot Eambo and 1 more) makes EU fairly unwanted to play on.

Server stability got a bit better lately, so I have to give them that at least.

NA pays amazingly well for lcs players even in low tier teams. Rekkless confirms the dark truth behind the LCS in EU in this video im about to share. EU LCS branch is actually the poorest out of all the top tier regions. Where Rekkles claims even in FNATIC the best paying team in EU can be out bought by low tier NA teams, Rekkless claims the pay is so low to the point if NA gave him a offer he would take it.

Yeah but one of those regions has a worlds win and the other has two worlds finals appearances, EU has 5 semi final losses. So like the dude said being better than NA is literally the only thing note worthy EU has since Riot started having a worlds tournament.
