NA predictions/Standings with Each player stats II
#5. Phoenix One
ZIG 2.1 2.6 6.6 272
INORI 3.2 3.0 6.3 183
RYU 4.0 2.2 5.7 319
ARROW 4.5 1.8 5.7 302
SHADY 0.7 3.3 8.6 24
This team will live or die with Arrow the problem with botlane this go around is I'm not sure about Shady " Slim shady" who will be Arrow's support in which I'm not even sure if he will even be on the team for the full split so it's a "shady" assumption......
Apart from that Ryu is a decent mid who does good enough, Arrow will be fine if not rekt the rest of NA with the newest buff to ADCs however we yet another support at the helm I doubt he will have another MVP split this go around.
Zig is good but isn't top tier, he has the right mindset of working with the team and helping but barely getting around 2.0 kills per game needs to change if he's going to be in the mix of top tier players or even in the mix for his role.
I also felt like this team were lucky last split with Meteos coming in and winning like 5 out of 6 game series to pull P1 into the playoff mix and top 3.
This is P1's objective focus last year
87 Dragons 38 Barons 289 Towers total
35 Dragons 17 Barons 142 Towers with Meteos 19 Games
52 Dragons 21 Barons 147 Towers with Inori 22 Games
Inori was also up by close to +30 Kills, 20 less deaths and over 1K CS compared to Meteos and P1 still had a hard time last split in the standings with an impressive roster( Ryu/Arrow/Metoes/Inori/Adrian) which means 1 thing, communication. The team has talent and skill and were top 5 in almost every objective focus among dragons/barons/towers per game, now the team had a split to gel and it's time to see what P1 can actually do.
#4. Flyquest
BALLS 2.0 2.5 6.4 281
MOON 2.9 3.1 5.9 155
HAI 3.9 2.9 5.3 302
WILDTURTLE 3.6 2.1 5.3 311
LEMONATION 0.8 2.7 8.4 34
Last year felt like CLG back in 2013 but instead of "protect the Doublelift" it was " protect the Shotcaller, best player, the kill leader, the game changer, the leader" etc etc. FQ lived and died with Hai and the team were complete garbage whenever he didn't get much help in which in the long run he didn't. Altec was and always have been a ok player but nothing more, but now with the newest member Wildturtle we can actually see an ADC that isn't scared to make a play happen. Which brings me to Wildturtle, while I don't think he will lead the NA LCS with Kills like he did with Immortals back in 2016, but I do see him coming out of his shell and providing the much needed offense for Flyquest.
So while Turtle may not be better than D-Lift or Sneaky, don't be an idiot in thinking he isn't a top tier player at his position and with Turtle playing with his old teammates I only see good things for Flyquest.
#3. Team Solomid
HAUNTZER 3.4 2.5 7.2 302
SVENSKEREN 3.1 2.9 7.1 161
BJERGSEN 4.4 2.4 6.9 317
DOUBLELIFT 4.5 2.5 6.1 309
BIOFROST 0.7 2.8 10.4 31
2016 Spring Wildturtle was having an incredible split with Immortals while D-Lift joins TSM and was having an meh split same with TSM overall. " We want Turtle". 2016 Summer TSM/D-Lift had their best split yet and failed at Worlds. 2017 Spring Split with Turtle and TSM gets destroyed at MSI " We want D-Lift" Lol, no matter who plays on this team the team overall will be decent in NA but on the international level this team will still get destroyed and yet fans still just can't seem to understand that, going on 8 years and it's still a shook to them.
Anyone thinking this will be the same TSM from 2016 Summer will be sadly mistaken cause that TSM put full effort in making it " Top 4" at Worlds and couldn't even make it out of groups, they spent a year as a team, they didn't stream but scrim instead and all that hardwork was for 6 games and eliminated. That split TSM lost 1 game series and like 9 or so games, that won't happen again for TSM this go around.
Bjergsen and the team will play 2nd fiddle to D-Lift like TSM always does, and when the team loses people and fans can get to blame Turtle or D-lift when the team SHOULD BE FOCUSING ON BJERGSEN and the fans with most of the criticism. Seriously what happened to the 2013/14 Bjergsen when he would just destroy opponents cause this Bjergsen since joining TSM 2014-2017 while still good hasn't really been as impressive as he can/should be especially on the International stage.
Well it goes hand in hand with the pick ban and Bjergsen's method to let someone else Shotcall, someone else carry, someone else get the glory but when it crashes down and/or when the team loses he gets 0 blame.
I honestly hope TSM doesn't win because I'm so tired of TSM vs C9 in every finals with TSM beating C9 for the last like 6 meetings against them, as well as TSM are huge disasters waiting to happen.
2. Counter Logic Gaming
DARSHAN 2.9 3.0 6.2 278
DARDOCH 3.4 3.4 7.1 175
HUHI 4.0 3.3 5.6 301
STIXXAY 4.6 2.9 5.2 321
APHROMOO 0.6 3.7 9.0 29
Xmithie for Dardoch was the right thing for both IMT and CLG, but CLG will have the pressure to win games now with Dardoch being on the team. Do I think CLG can make Dardoch a less rage player - YES. Do I think CLG will win NA- NO.
This team will be under the microscope with the ganks from Dardoch involving Mid with Huhi. While Huhi has improved over the splits he's still not very good when it comes to actually winning his lane, cs, kills etc and if 1-2 bad plays happen I see Dardoch possibly getting upset with Huhi, and Huhi is honestly a very impressionable player, meaning he doesn't necessary "cries" but I do see him getting upset when another player gives him a hard time that's why Aphromoo is pretty much his BF because Aphromoo knows all too well with pressure from another player(D-Lift) can be a burden. So the leadership and peacemaker will start and end with Aphromoo to make this team work in the long run.
#1. Cloud 9
IMPACT 2.3 2.3 7.4 300
CONTRACTZ 3.2 2.4 7.0 167
JENSEN 4.8 2.1 5.9 334
SNEAKY 4.0 1.9 5.7 314
SMOOTHIE 0.9 2.0 9.0 29
No more excuses for Cloud 9 now, this team has had time to gel and they've been a top tier team(1-2) for so many splits now that they need to win and prove to everyone that when it comes to NA at least 1 team can make us proud. Every player on C9 are either #1 or #2 in their respective positions and they still can't win against TSM, they can give them a run for their money but still can't win.
Jensen has lost 3 straight playoff match-ups ( 2 Finals) to TSM while Sneaky has lost 5 straight playoff encounters with TSM( 4 Finals) 3 against Wildturtle and 2 against D-Lift. Again, C9 gave them a run for TSM's money but if C9 wants people " C9 Could have, C9 could have" well WIN NA FIRST.
3 things that I'm going to look at this split.
- Contractz - Last split he pretty much gave C9 like a 3-4 kill lead in the first 10 mins with his great plays but will he do that again this split?
- Jensen - He pretty much has been very cocky and most times than not has been smacked down on more than once.
- Sneaky - When push comes to shove and the meta becomes aggressive for bot lane I think Sneaky tends to fall off some, while still being good and top tier he tends to fall behind the team not just for position but also being able to carry games without his team doing 80% of the work when he's the ADC.
No more memes, no more jokes for once/split it's time to make NA Great again........... Great for ONCE!
- Cloud 9 15-3
