With TSM winning, the floundering CLG going in on points and IMT the most likely to take the Gauntlet (barring another choke/massive upset), there's just nobody from this region who won't fold like a single playing card in the brackets stage again, is there?
Maybe I am buying into the hype to much, but I think NA has the best chance of not embarrassing themselves this year over any other worlds.
TSM looks like the best NA team ever right now, CLG a little more iffy, and Cloud9 or Immortals both look like respectable teams.
Like we aren't going to win Worlds, but I am pretty excited about our chances this time around.

I doubt IMT will beat C9 in the gauntlet. Also, the teams look alot better than last year imo, except maybe CLG, if anything we have a better chance this year, the main problem is just SKT being #2 seed.

CLG showed they can play at worlds during the spring split. TSM definitely has the ability to hang with the competition at worlds.
and they're both going.
IMT has potential. C9 I'm less confident about. NV and TL don't belong.
Would have to look at the Group stage drawings later down the road.
LCK(KOREA)
X SK Telecom T1 are and always will be a contender as long as Faker is on the team. Yet they showed that they can bleed during MSI and LCK playoffs.
X Rox Tigers are the strongest Team going into worlds and would not be surprised if they win Worlds 2016-17.
EU(EUROPE)
X G2 are a much improved team from the Spring split G2 as the players can understand each other instead of Trick having to communicate with Emperor not to mention Zven and Mithy are 10X better than Emperor and Hybrid. However if G2 gets in a 0-2 or 1-3 hole expect the "Vacation memes to tilt them"
X H2K depends on Forgiven as he isn't the most calm player in the world and has tilt in the past and been benched/suspended numerous times before about flaming teammates.
LPL(CHINA) EDWARD GAMING each year the casters pick EDG to be the favorites to be in the Worlds Finals and each year they get eliminated early in the first round of the Playoffs at Worlds and even tho they get beyond the group stage they always seem to look weak doing so. However this year I do expect EDG to make it to the Finals. Really depends on Deft and if he can not cry after a defeat once he does it's over for which ever team Deft is on. ROYAL NEVER GIVES UP each week RNG looks weaker and weaker(TO ME). They remind me of LMQ and how they always want to fight 24/7 not to mention teams will not just allow UZI to just farm for 50 mins and will punish RNG into making mistakes for objectives or just play up losing objectives so UZI can can 700 cs to eventually getting focused late game.
LMS( ?) Flash wolves WOW this team is a power house didn't expect much from them back in 2015 but since they showed their true colors they have been exciting to watch out of all the potential upsets I'm picking the Flash Wolves to eliminate a heavy favorites at Worlds.
NA( NA) TEAM SOLOMID The camp Bjergsen or the Bjergsen and 4 wards as teammates memes are GONE I see nothing but objective style play from TSM and to be honest I see the same thing from COUNTER LOGIC GAMING I see great shotcalling from Aphromoo and this is the best chance for NA for WORLDS! # BELIEVE
