The only way I think you can have a tie in League is when it's a best-of-two and each team wins one game, which I believe will be possible in the EU LCS Summer Split. Could that answer your question?

It's an experiment with a new formula for the LCS, which they're running in Europe since we're more familiar with the concept of ties from our regular sports leagues. I personally don't think it's lame :)

They play two games against one team. If one team wins one game, and the other team wins the other game, it's a tie.

I had the same question a few months ago when they first came out with this tie rules, I didn't understand it either. I understand it now but who want's to see ties when you can have a WINNER instead???

Ok I understand if G2 beat OG 2-0 so they standing is G2 1-0-0 and OG 0-1-0 but when they also add in this point system its just more confusing to understand.
