The Three NA Teams You Want Representing NA!

NA's pride on the line who do you want to see? I have to say even though I think NA is stronger then ever I don't like my options at all.

TSM is looking the strongest it ever has. Sadly TSM still has the distinction of being present at every single World Championship, yet being lucky to ever get out of groups. Hell I don't think they ever made it out of the first bracket since Season 1. I'm sick of them coming up short and embarrassing us despite having more international experience then any organization. However teams won't be able to reliably camp the hell out of Dyrus this time.

CLG not sure WTH happened after MSI, but they look strong after their series against IMT. If they can pull back that championship level MSI level performance I'd take them. Not sure what happened to Darshan this split though, and I've never been impressed with Huhi replacing him for Pobleter was huge mistake imo.

C9 I haven't followed them much this split, but I feel that their win over IMT is more so about Huni choking then how strong they are. I'll have to see how they to against TSM to make sure. C9 has historically performed the best Internationally out of all the NA teams. I think of them as the FNC of NA, they wont win but they show up. But I don't have much faith in them w/o Hai's shotcalling.

IMT kind of a wildcard, they've shown to falter in series matches despite their dominance, and seem to be easy to exploit. Higher level teams won't allow them to just get a lead and run rough shot over them, but I think I'd prefer to see IMT over any of three teams above simply because I've seen all 3 teams come up short internationally in embarassing fashion with the exception of C9.

History says Liquid will get fourth. I think they'll beat C9 in the gauntlet and then lose to IMT.

  • Tsm, does look as strong as they've ever been, no matter how much i hate them. Like you said, it's all a what it when they hit worlds competition.

-Clg, i'd have to say, as the case with many teams, didn't have "their" meta like before and during MSI. Even with that said, going on how they are in international competition... they at the moment have the best chance outside of C9, so far Stixxay has proven to rise up to the plate during these times... assuming we don't have another lackluster darshawn call. Also can't forget that xmithie shows up too.

-C9, as yes C9... so far, their post hai struggles seemed to have left them as they make it to the NA summer finals, Assuming they do end up making it to worlds... Meteos shared a chunk of the shotcalling that made them strong internationally, so their is some hope there... but they are the same situation as TSM at the moment. "Who knows"

-IMT, i honestly don't have faith with them, when it's the biggest stage, they falter and don't show up even though it's supposed to be a stomp for them, i honestly feel their playstyle wouldn't last long in worlds. They would more than likely last the first few games as a surprise, but in the end their style, i feel, only would work best in a match against a team from the LPL, even at then it's a 50/50.

-TL, Just no.

-Everyone else, Ha.

I honestly feel TSM has the best chance, no matter how hard it hurts to say that as a C9 fan.

If we only say what we want, i would wants to see C9,TSM and NV.

Probably will be TSM,CLG and IMT/C9 though.

I think right now it should be TSM, IMT, and C9. CLG would be fine to send too. I am confident in our top 4 teams to represent our region. Hopefully C9 beat TSM today and then IMT and CLG have to fight for the last slot. I think that would be most fair.

TSM, CLG, C9

I don't believe in IMT playing well internationally. But, they haven't played at an international event yet, so I don't really have anything to backup that theory.

C9 TSM IMT

I do believe TSM is the best na team now, I also think with double lift they will tilt after losing to a better team

C9, TSM, TL. Don't trust CLG atm, but they are good. IMT is good, but tilt/deny Huni&Reignover seems like a decent way to beat IMT

The problem with clg is just how insanely inconsistent they are. I think it's extremely probable that they'll be one of the teams representing us due to tsm being the heavy favorites to win summer split. Clg plays musical chairs with who is going to fuck up each game and a lot of the time it puts them in a hole so deep that they can't come back. I am not thrilled about them going to worlds.

Ideally I think it should be tsm/c9/imt, but realistically I think it's going to be tsm/clg/imt.

-edit

Liquid is just out of the top 4, but I can't see them running the gauntlet against imt/c9. Every team below liquid is just a huge drop in skill.
