Finals I can't say. For C9 vs CLG, C9 has had an easy 2 weeks, losing only to TL, who dominated that game. The one doubt I have about them is how they will play against CLG, who I believe are excellent at forcing the opposing teams around the map thanks to Darshan's splitpushing and teleports. If it goes to late game, and Darshan is splitpushing, Hai's shotcalling may be the best weapon C9 has to make it to the finals.

For IMT vs TL, I think it will still be a hard matchup to call. Without a doubt, IMT is the best team in NA, losing only one game this entire season. However, that loss came to repeated thrashing of Huni and Reignover in the solo lane. TL, as of late, have won 3 of 4 previous games, and most recently against C9, which started with a First Blood and consistent outplays in the early game TL's shotcalling has improved much since last year, and they've been on a hot streak like I hadn't seen before from them. If TL can dominate the early game and control one side of the map for the majority of the game, then we might have a close and amazing 5 game series.

Hmmm I agree with the overall outcome, but no the scores of the quarter finals.. C9 vs TSM will easily go to 4-5 game. TL vs NRG will go to 4 games.

You're right about the semi-finals, and the finals IMO.

I think it will be TSM vs Immortals for the Finals, with CLG vs. TL for third place, only to have TL lose again and be run over in the gauntlet by C9 for a second time.

Overall, TSM might show up, but they will have the hardest time getting to the final, NRG is a wild card but can still win, and there is the Liquid Curse. IMO favorites to win are C9, CLG, IMT, and maybe TSM if they get their shit together.

I personally think the predictions shouldn't be based off who is the better team, but who is more likely to throw. TL historically chokes during playoff and although last season was an anomaly clg chokes big time when the pressure is on.

This hasn't been the first season that tsm has looked terrible going into playoffs only to end up surprising every one and making it to the grand final. The only problem is that c9 is another team who thrives under pressure. I personally believe who ever wins between tsm and c9 will face imt in the finals. Yes it is very likely c9 is going to win, but I don't think playoff tsm should be written off as getting clean swept.

TL will 3-0 NRG. TL, piglet especially, are a very emotional team. If they some how manage to take game 1 off IMT I think they can surprise every one with a good series 3-2 going either way. However, if they lose the first game then they will get clean swept with out even putting up a fight.

Clg will choke in the semi regardless of who they face unless darshan single handedly carries their team. I fully expect every team to target ban darshan exclusively, save last pick for top and lane swap if they get an unfavorable match up.

The only way IMT lose the finals is if huni throws. This isn't as improbable of a statement as it seems. He did multiple times during the regular season, last season on fnc, worlds... etc. He is a very good player, but he tilts.
