Former World Champion/SSW player Looper on Echo Fox!
I'm not going to say it's 100% confirmed but it's looking like the once SSW and World Champion Looper will be apart of Echo Fox!

rip another great korean going to na for 1 last year of chillin' and making big money.
Even if this is confirmed I still rank echo fox as a bottom-tier team only because the other news sorta "out-classes" it (namely that due to the adrian poaching scandal they probably won't be scrimming any lcs teams and due to trying to acquire dardoch outside the "approved window" they probably won't be allowed to use him in 2017). It definitely is some news though, as Looper could very well set the new "lowest lcs kda record" should he be able to feast on the dearth of top lane talent in NA this split.
Yeah the competition at TOP for NA this year will be limited.
TEAM SOLOMID- Loses D-Lift so the pressure will fall on Bjergsen and Hauntzer to make plays as the older members on TSM so they don't have to put as much on the newer ADC that will take D-Lift's spot this next split.
Having that type of pressure I think on Hauntzer will limit TSM into having a mediocre Split.
ECHO FOX and PHOENIX ONE - No chemistry for either team will be the only issue on these two teams. They both flushed out some of the worse players in the LCS in exchange for uper tier players( Adrien-Dardoch-Looper etc) Like you said about " Scandal window" for Adrian and Dardoch. If that is true EF and P1 just shot themselves in the foot as they cleared their roster and now have to find newer replacements or rehire the talent they released ( CAN YOU SAY AWKWARD!)
CLOUD 9 CHALLENGER - Could be in the NA Finals this year with the team's STAR power. I like everyone on the team with the exception of Altec. It's not that hes a bad player -FAR FROM IT but it's the way he plays that's annoying and causes his team to lose games. He focuses on CS 24/7 that alone costs games. IDK I could be dwelling on the past but I see the team having to carry him.
IMMORTALS Oh god! What needs to be said
CLOUD 9 and COUNTER LOGIC GAMING - The complete opposites from EF and P1. These teams might not have had big names in the off season but the have chemistry with players that have shown to take the teams to WORLDS.
TEAM LIQUID
Chaos can describe this team but I"m going to go with injury.
This team looks like a giant band-aid. Every player on TL have gone through some rough shit and they pay out is constantly 4th-5th place in the Split/Playoffs. Even with some of the best talent in NA these team is still complete ass.
TEAM ENVY A bottom team nothing more with current roster. j
TEAM APEX/TEAM DIGNITAS - They had a 40 man roster and didn't really use any of their subs what a WASTE! Shiphtur/Diamond wasn't used once during the summer split where the team played 45+ GMS.
I think you're a bit off on a few of them. Adrian is still going to P1, it's echo fox who tried to poach him after he was already under contract with p1 (hence why the lcs teams aren't scrimming echo fox now). The dardoch issue is entirely seperate to the matter, despite many people trying to say that the two are "somehow" connected. I'm also not going to make my predictions just yet as there's still 2 full months of "preseason" left, but combined with all the EU shenanigans in which teams basically fired all their korean talent and replaced them with EU-challenger level talent it's safe to say the western region on a whole is going to be a lot worse this year.
Oh, and in other news that people may have missed, apparently rito is thinking of upping the challenger thing to 10 teams instead of 6 (with the playoff system there working a lot like the current lcs). They also added a new rule which prevents "sister teams" from playing in challenger playoffs, as to not make lcs spots farmable a la C9C/whatever TLA tried to do.
I wasn't making any Hard predictions more of just analyzing the teams is all but I understand where you are coming from which is smart on your part.
The Challenger scene should have been upgraded and tweaked a while back but better late than never, as well as when something does happen it's easier to criticize so I tip my hat to Riot for doing that.
I don't understand the C9 situation. I understand the sister team situation but not the C9 Challenger. Can't the C9 Challenger team just change their name?

Rito prevents two teams from being owned by the same "group/person" (like if me or myself and a group of people owned one team, we couldn't have any form of ownership whether it be minority or majority stake in another team). Unless the C9 owner chooses to gift Hai the spot plus like $4m for upkeep costs, they're basically forced to sell.
But the players are ok on the team? Unless the new management releases the players for new players?

The players are allowed to play on the new team, but they're technically "Free agents" and thus don't have to sign with them. Usually what happens in these sort of scenarios (as was the case with a few EU teams) is that the new management either buys the spot outright and not the contracts of the players for less $ (like what happened when C9 bought the original challenger spot) or they have the original team sign the players, then just transfer everything over (like what happened with renegades/nv).
I don't know much about that legal stuff but I do hope the C9 Challenger players are kept together, it would be exciting to see Balls/Lemon/Hai vs Sneaky/Meteos/Jensen.
Good information and reconnaissance!

Technically they could, but apparently Hai is being saught after as a coach by multiple teams and could potentially coach C9 should they want to move reapered into a "higher up role". Oh, and there's an app/site that I get all my stuff from, merely just transition it from there to here.

lov the sounds of 10 teams etc, i just hope they keep the relegation/promotion thing in place, it makes for more interesting leagues and matchs etc etc.
on the screaming note, while i understand think it just harms your chances, whats done is done, let riot deal with it and keep scrimming, not screaming a player like looper is potentially harming your team, i don't rate him as the best of the best but he is damned good.

The problem I (and many of the teams) have is that rito did deal with it, but didn't exactly "punish" them and more so warn them, similar to the fnatic/g2 thing from a while ago. Scrimming is essentially an "optional" thing that teams don't legally have to do with eachother, if they don't want to scrim with echo fox as punishment I say let'm. If anything, it gives echo fox a reason to try harder to avoid being another massive NA embarassment (which considering dignitas is back in the LCS, would be rather ironic).
It'll take more than Looper to save EF from itself. Really would have liked him to go on another team.
See this as the same case with Piglet on Liquid. One former world champ does not make a team.
You might be right, but with a starting lineup of Looper-Dardoch-Froggen-Keith and ? It has potential; that is if Dardoch can actually play this split and not get suspended.
With that being said Froggen should be happy knowing he actually has a good TOP for once.
Dardoch signed with IMT, so you can't count him.
http://www.thescoreesports.com/lol/news/11968-report-immortals-sign-dardoch
Well.... Honestly that just makes the NA LCS that more competitive for this next split and that's all I care for at the end of the day. If Immortals don't get any talent since everyone already left I just see Dardoch being even more toxic then when he was on TL with talent on the team such as Piglet-Fenix etc.

Yeah, you're a tiny bit off on that. They aren't "suspending" dardoch, merely preventing him from playing on echo fox due to both teams trying to circumvent the whole approval window thingy. He can still play on other teams, and apparently might be joining immortals assuming they can find a "capable" roster for him.
Oh, and froggen's biggest problem hasn't been the talent around him, merely that he himself is too "team reliant" or more "jungle reliant" to the point in which he literally never self-snowballs games. He's essentially the LCS equivalent of that guy you see in solo queue who plays farm-only characters, never roams, then wonders why 30mins in his entire team is losing and the enemies are 5v1'ing his mid turret.
Wow! Honestly I only put the whole "Froggen needs X team blah blah blah " to be nice to any Froggen followers so they don't bash me but your " He's essentially the LCS equivalent of that guy you see in solo Q who plays farm-only characters, never roams" EXACTLY!
I thought I was the only person who saw Froggen for what he really is; good player but does nothing but farms. I mean I don't remember the last time he even roamed or done anything to help his team. He really is the solo Q mid who just stays mid and asks for blue 24/7.
And people wonder why he hasn't won anything in over 2+ years.

Yeah, I personally don't get why people use the whole "if he had a team built around him, he'd do really well" excuse on him, especially since he's been in the league longer than pretty much everyone, faker included. If you look at the core/root point of that excuse, it actually kinda applies to everyone making the whole thing rather funny. "Hey guys, I'm bronze 5 but I can still win worlds. Just build a team consisting of faker/bengi/Huni/Pray and we definitely have a shot" On the whole topic of froggen being "good", I think we can call that into question. He's been in the league longer than 90% of the LCS playerbase and hasn't been on a team that's finished higher than 5th in the regular season. Compare that to other players, and he's more on par with the likes of kiwikid than players like Hai/xpeke.
Yeah I'v never been a fan of the whole "team argument" either, if you're good.... you're good plain and simple. If you're good and yet you still need so much resources than you're not "good" but just decreasing in skill.
I mean what do the League of Legends gods tell us in solo q ( JUST GOTTA CARRY ) and that's in solo Q from skill ranging from Bronze-Challenger but for Froggen his teammates are all Challenger level players.
He's been higher than 5th before in the regular season but it has been a decent chunk of the League career; close to 2 years to be exact. His regular season record are
2013 Spring 4TH 2013 Summer 3RD
2014 Spring 3RD 2014 Summer 1ST
2015 Spring 7TH 2015 Summer 7TH
2016 Sping 7TH 2016 Summer 10TH
Yeah I'v never EVER had him past Xpeke or Bjergsen in skill and surprisingly Hai actually farms better than Froggen whenever I see them face each other mainly I remember 2014 Worlds(when Froggen had his best team) and Hai was up 20+ cs and even through out the whole Worlds Froggen just sucked!
