Are we really looking at a play offs that may only have og vs FW and KT vs KOO are the only matches that don't go 3-0? God I'm hoping KOO vs SKT finals goes better than their lck match ups.

SKT should 3-0 them since everyone (including Koo) knows they are the better team.

SKT is the only team that didn't lose a big chunk of their roster to CN this last season, so they've been expected to be the best team in the world for like 9 months and we just had a good hype line about edg that turned out not to be true :(

LGD collapse was worse. They looked so good if you watched cn playoffs.

I say EDG because they were strong all year. LGD just got hot in the playoffs.

Yeah I could see the ssw ssb argument applying here. LGD when pyl was in played second fiddle to EDG all year, so if LGD spikes at a good time does it matter?

With ssw there will always be that "what if they stayed together" question but LGD imploded so it looks different bc EDG really just had a hiccup more than LGD becoming this dominant force that maybe overtakes them. Really good point man.

No, they just fired it.

From last year only Faker and Bengi are still in the team, while everyone else just got hired for this year.

Ummm, not sure if trolling or serious. All of them were on SKT pay roll last year I'm pretty sure. Only one I'm not 100% on is wolf. Easyhoon, Marin, and bang all played for SKT last year.

They didn't play Marin with faker over impact bc they wanted to build a team around Marin the way they did faker bc Marin is such a good player. Easy and bang were with Marin, but I think bang at least may have moved from SKT t1 s to SKT t1 k even without the consolidation this year bc of issues with piglet and team chemistry. Seriously check your facts before saying stuff like "Marin wasn't an SKT player last year." He was the only reason I rooted for any SKT team last year and it was so painful to see them just not growing, and it is so awesome to see him come into his own this year and be as successful as everyone expected from him when he joined the lck.

KT vs KOO was 1-3 so not every game was 3-0 well besides for SKT.

yeah, fw also too a game off of og, which is why I mentioned those as the two exceptions. It's just a format issue and the fact that there is absolutely no excuse for having a patch as big as the juggernaut changes and then no pro games until worlds played on it. I mean, imagine if the NBA decided to make 3 point shots worth 4 points instead and made the change after the regular season before the playoffs started. Yeah you can practice it but you don't know what other teams are going to do w/ it and there is going to be some development that goes along w/ it.

good lord, can´t even say Koo played the series well - just that FNatic threw every game in pick&bans besides game 1. but both semis the Koreans adapted just a lot better to the jungle-meta without Elise/Gragas...prioritizing other ops instead and winning with teamfight-junglers mostly.

its cus the format for worlds sucks thanks to having a group stage. the group stage is just a crap shoot and doesn't seed the teams out right which is why we got so many crappy series
