Hopefully the Summer Playoffs won't stink like the Spring did

Title - Last split's playoffs had to be one of the most boring splits in the LCS, as well as any sport(2017 NBA Playoffs/2017 NFL Playoffs) for that matter. Last split(LCK/NA/EU) had 14 series - 8 out of the 14 were 3-0's combined( 3 of those 8 were from NA) This is really alarming considering the last 2 weeks from NA mainly has been nothing but stomps/26-27 min 14-1 kill lead type of games, so the playoffs will most likely be no different.

Last split LCK Playoffs were all 3-0's MVP def Freecs 3-0 KT def MVP 3-0 KT def SSG 3-0 SKT DEF KT 3-0

Last split NA Playoffs 3 out of 6 were 3-0's, considering CLG were up 2-0 and TSM were also up 2-0 against FQ/C9, it was just boring to watch, and even if the games did go 3-2 they were all stomps and wasn't competitive 1 bit. Eu had some decent games, but I personally don't watch EU as much MFS DEF SPY 3-2 FNC DEF H2K 3-0 G2 DEF FNC 3-1 UOL DEF MFS 3-1 G2 DEF UOL 3-1

Pretty much a rant I know, but this close to Worlds and the games just aren't interesting is very alarming considering if NA isn't that competitive now - just wait till NA faces LCK. Also, goes hand in hand with the meta these days, 1 team gets a small lead GG

One brief correction: LCK Wildcard rounds are Bo3. MVP 2-0 Freecs. Point still stands it was a sweep.

And to add onto that, the LMS and LPL playoffs of Spring had a mix of expected and unexpected outcomes as well. For the LMS it was pretty much as simple as you could throw it

M17 1-3 JT 0-3 AHQ 1-3 FW (Yeah you can pretty much read it like that)

The LPL on the other hand had one side of the bracket that looked good. The other side however...

NB def IG 3-1 (technically 3-0 by official match - Higher seed IG) EDG def NB 3-0 RNG def EDG 3-1

IM def QG 3-2 (3-1 by official match - Higher seed QG) OMG def IM 3-2 WE def OMG 3-1

EDG def OMG 3-2 (3rd place) WE def RNG 3-0 (Final)

So yeah. Not as much of a blowout in China but collectively aside from Europe and China, the playoffs were pretty straight down the line. Fortunately if anything should be accounted for, nearly no team in playoffs looks like a shoe in to just run over everybody coming off of the regular season anywhere. That might be the good hope in my opinion.
