P1 lost to FNC 2 time so wouldn't that make TSM record better since they beat every team twice or once
Or what is the real reason I don't even get it lol, TSM even come as the higher seed as well for NA
III BAKURYU III 2 votesHave to agree with Kame the head to head record makes no sense when the team representing EU UOL barely got into the Finals, but 2 teams from NA actually did well enough to play in the Finals themselves.
Well, NA got 3 days to laugh at EU and if the scripts are true EU will win Finals so the "Rivalry" will be NA won most of the games, while EU won the Finals, especially since it's TSM vs UOL and TSM seems to always s$it the bed when it comes to BO series against Unicorns.

Groups - 100% identical to what we saw the first 3 days, each team faces the other twice
Elimination- The team with the least amount of wins vs the team with the most after groups for example TSM vs G2 P1 vs UOL C9 vs FNC - no team are eliminated from groups best in the "Knockout" stage teams face their opponents until each teams' region are eliminated. So if TSM beats G2, P1 beats UOL, but FNC beats C9; Fnatic will have to face both TSM and P1 and vice versa.
Instead we got a format that isn't the best when deciding who actually won, NA won 12 out of 18 games but EU could win the Finals and be the winners of RR, not a fan of 50/50 in tournaments.
Miror B1 votesThe problem in general is that this one lacks a "third region" making the entire order of things a bit weird. Look at the others, and it kinda goes like this:
-3 regions face off against the other ones in a group stage similar to the 2-region one -the region with the best overall record gets a "bye" straight to the finals with the other 2 regions facing against eachother
With this, you not only have the potential to see more games overall but also allow for that "comeback story" everyone enjoys. Teams from one region can suck massively, only to pull it together just in time to win the thing. 2-region one feels rather "meh", mind you I haven't actually seen any of the NA/EU games so I'm unsure if the audience and casters feel the same.

It's different yet difficult from the other scenarios that have occurred in other Rifts over the week. I'm genuinely more curious how Green Rift (TCL vs LCL) will sort that out, especially if the TCL teams today just burn through their LCL opponents and that pretty leaves Vega Squadron vs someone. Similar format, same levels of eh but might as well take it.
