C9 has a pretty good chance to be top 4. Something TSM laughably thought they could do.

They had the exact same record as TSM at the end of groups, only didn't have to play a tie breaker. You C9 fan boys are lying to yourselves.

And youre on crack, They had the same record as tsm mabye but tsm wasnt in a group with any korean teams. They lost in the easiest group at worlds. C9 carried the same score in a team with skt that claimed 2 of their 3 losses. Losing twice to the 3 time world champions is nothing to be ashamed of. The fact remains that in the rest of their matchups they won 3 out of 4 matches which edg and ahq failed to do so they went on and the others diddnt its that simple. Had edg not made a last ditch efford and punished c9;s terrible draft they likely would have gone 4-2. I have no idea why they drafted graves-kog on the same team. If you get kog you need frontline to protect him. If you draft graves you need an adc like cait xayah or something like that that dosnt need as much peel and babysitting. Picking them together garenteed that they HAD to snowball early and locked them into a bad win condition. So sure they flopped 1 game and 2 to skt but they won all the matches that mattered, thats why they are advancing. They earned it. Just like tsm earned getting dumped with DL flashing the wrong way and picking scaling and rolling over to die.

No, they will still perform. C9 is under a lot more pressure than TSM. All other NA hope was lost and they are in the group of death. Yet they managed to pull off that crucial win against AHQ. That is a lot better than what other NA teams can do.

If C9 was in any other group other than A, they would have been kicked out. it's pretty easy to see that.

there is no denial, I won't cheer for either C9 or TSM so it doesn't matter to me.

it's pretty clear though that if TSM was in place of C9, C9 would have been kicked out and TSM would have went ahead with SKT as well.

TSM just sucks on an international stage because of paralysis. And EDG and AHQ both showed early game players that TSM can't adapt to.
