Did anyone else notice Dyrus was really salty after that TSM CLG game. Bjergsen had to keep awkwardly laughing off Dyrus's obvious frustration in the post game interview. Think it's because he played bad? Was focused? Or just hates the lane swap meta? Thoughts?

Wrath of Kon1 votesalmost all of the above. Dyrus just got focused because the way TSM played. Nothing is more frustrating than playing a game and the only thing you do is farm krugs when it comes up.

I really do agree with you so bad, that I think Dyrus deserves better than TSM at this point. He is a more or less the face of TSM, being the most well known and the oldest face that still sitting on TSM's roster. I honestly think they set up Dyrus play Lulu and get focused, and not send any help to him, because hes supposed to be this shield to draw CLG's resources and time and hold towers. He just doesnt deserve this crap. He held on very very well by only dying 2 times over all. Did an amazing job ulting Bjergson and others when they were almost gonna die. I think its unfair no one recognizes his abilities. But truth be told, this plan was the only way to give TSM edge over CLG. TSM was scared, so they used this god awful yet effective plan. had it not been for this plan, it would have been very unpredictable and perhaps even given CLG the edge here.

You overestimate Dyrus. He isn't really that good and since he isn't the man to carry his team the plan was literally perfect, destroying CLG. I don't understand what you want Dyrus to be since he is awesome at being a less playmaking top laner and more of support style. In other words, Dyrone did exactly what he does best in CLG vs TSM game.

I get your drift. At the same time, I also feel for him, he didnt get to play, and post interview, he looked so upset and depressed. I mean normally if he played bad, he still manages to "heh Yeah I did bad, and fed, oh well." But the fact that this game, the team probably just told him to sit down and dont do shit....well kinda doesnt sit well for me, and apparently also for Dyrus. I mean if they go as far as using him as a decoy in fear of him feeding, TSM might as well bench him, and let other teams try dyrus. Look at Xpecial, he made a good come back with Curse after he left TSM. I know dyrus has a soft spot for TSM, but if he wants to grow up, he needs to just step out, leave TSM and try something new. Who knows maybe it be better for both TSM and Dyrus, but the way things are now, Dyrus is not gonna last mentally.
Also Dyrus looks really out of it lately, I mean he always looked drunk and half asleep, but lately, I feel like hes losing that light that has kept him going. I feel like hes about to lose it.

He is pretty lucky that TSM don't have a sub top laner because what happened to Chaox would happen to Dyrus too. I bet TSM will start looking for another top laner for the summer split. Dyrus tho has no future in competitive scene if TSM decides to replace him. Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like players like ZionSpartan and Quas are getting better, meanwhile Dyrone is underperforming in every single game. Nevertheless he is able to adapt to different meta games so the decision is up to TSM, don't forget the fact that fans want Dyrus to remain in the team.

Truly Prideful1 votesCan you blame him for hating how it played out? He basically didn't get to play the game. It happens to him a lot and it has to wear on him eventually. Fortunately for TSM, other teams don't seem to see that that shut down Dyrus strategy isn't beating TSM at all.
