Now that we have a tank jungle item...
With the sun fire cape aura; can we please make the aura a toggle effect? It is frustrating to be forced to take tower agro because of it.

I think that the "in combat" case of Cinderhulk was actually a really good idea for the reason of not taking monster aggro, although to be honest I'm not sure if it would work with tower aggro.
That said, I am in full support of a toggle for Immolate (the name of the active on Sunfire Cape and Cinderhulk, as of the recent PBE push).
It doesn't not do damage, it just ramps up to more damage the longer you are in combat, up to a cap ( i think its 200%)
as for the toggle, the community has asked riot for that since S2, haven't even seen a response
That's weird. Looking at the in-game tooltip shown on Surrender@20 with the PBE patch, it sounds like it doesn't do damage when out of combat.
The item text: "While in combat, deal 15 (+1 per champion level) magic damage a second to nearby enemies. This increases up to 100% based on time in combat."
It sure sounds like it only activates in combat, and I'm sure Riot would have only worded it this way if it acted like this.
There was a post about the Toggle on Sunfire... by Phreak. I don't think he does much about game-balance thingies, so you may still want a response from a game-balance Rioter.
Toggles aren't great because of the really high chance to just leave it off forever on accident. I know it's "your fault" but it's just sort of irresponsible on a game design standpoint when you actually just want it on like 99% of the time.
I'm kind-of against the Toggle because of the same reason, but I'm sure a Toggle is the easiest-to-understand (thus easiest to handle for players) solution to this problem.
I agree with this. Nothing's worse than being one of the true tanks who don't decimate towers anyway, but still getting aggro because SF likes to kill you.
Yes please.
basically I only use
on
coz they have no aoe to push lane apart from that i dont see it is that useful
That would be kind of unfair.
It already doesn't turn on unless you are in combat, it really doesn't need a toggle.
I'd rather not have a toggle. Maybe I'm just a baddie, but I'd rather play around immolate than constantly be forgetting to turn it on and losing out on a ton of damage.
Think about how often you forget to use an item. Now think about how often you wish sunfire wasn't active. For me, the first far outnumbers the second.
All they need to do with Sunfire is make it act like Cinderhulk does, that aura is only active while in combat (taking damage/dealing damage).
+1. I disagree with a toggle, for the same reasons Phreak gives, but applying the "only in combat" condition to Bami's and all of its upgrades would be a pretty clear win given that you're capable of writing the code for it to work at all.
