Svenskeren Useless

ForFoxSakes··5 votes·884 views

Caught out so many times to give FB and extra kills in many games while he just farms his jungle as everyone invades him knowing how scared and weak he is. Most of the time he's just around close to the lane to help defend rather than actually make any plays or being the aggressor.

Does TSM not trust making plays around him? So many engages and plays are made off Biofrost or Haunzer who have saved the team many times

That was not Sven

That was all on doublelift

It's a late game adc meta and he loses to the nerfed cait.... he loses with twitch...

ForFoxSakes1 votes

That last game all Sven did was sit in a bush behind the tower as their tower was being taken then walks away. Did it bot, mid and top then goes to farm waves. TSM has ZERO first bloods in all of worlds because Sven does nothing

That is true that the jungler is having problems if they never get FB when even 1907 FB got it.

Sven can't do much when they force him on a non-tank with 3 losing lanes....If he ganks a losing lane, you may end up doing horrible.

It has to be on the laners to be comfortable enough to hold the lane till they scale. Doublelift losing to a Cait as twitch in a Ardent Censor meta. Please note, this isn't the OP Cait, this is the Cait that had 43% winrate... the one that had to be buffed.

Same story with mid lane. They picking a Ryze who needs scaling against a Jayce... they got a Cho who also needs to scale

So YES, Sven can't do anything. It's very hard when the lanes are losing like that.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he played good, but to try and say it's on Sven is absurd. The lanes, mostly bot lane totally botched it. Doublelift can't play a twitch. He is using stealth standing next to his tower hoping for some idiotic dive on his support so he can take a kill. Same thing last week vs MSF. Totally underestimating his opponent. Sven too played bad but it's more on DL than anyone else; especially in an ADC meta.

Bot lane didnt have a censer yet so we cant really say a nerf cait lost to a meta pick. All their champs were late game yes but Sven provided zero pressure on the map. Wouldnt even fight a solo Sej invading his own jungle

Not just this game, but the other games in week 1 too where the rest of the team had to carry his ass while he got caught out multiple times. It's not JUST on Sven the last game sure, but he's not making any impact in any game

You can't stop a Sej with a J4. J4 loses until level 6+. You also can't contest your jungle when your mid and bot lane were losing as bad as they were. I don't think I saw one point when Bjerg had more HP than Jayce. I dont recall one point where bot lane for TSM has decent HP when Sven was being invaded.

Also, it's not about Ardent. It's the fact that Cait at this point is really weak. She actually had a 43% winrate.

I get why some people here are complaining about Sven. I complained last week in his game vs MSF. The issue is, you can't try to attack the jungler this game. He played fine, almost as consistent as he normally does. The issue is, TSM laners can't enjoy the luxury of winning their lanes so like they do in NA. Fans are expecting Sven to do something to get them to win. You couldn't have swapped Sven with WE's Condi and the result would have been similar. What happened was not really influence by what Sven could have done.

Again though, if you just say the jungler can roll over and quit, then you are never going to help your lanes.

I don't think you understand how hard it is for a jungler to do anything when you mid laner is 40% and a Jayce with full HP is roaming. When you bot lane is pushed in with lower HP. Sure you can posibly gank a lane but if the enemy jungler is there, the game is over...

It was on the laner to actually do good. You can't pick a losinig lane and cry that your jungler can't do anything...

ForFoxSakes1 votes

So now it's flipped TSM with Sej and MSF with J4. J4 is now the one invading pre-6, ganking multiple lanes while Sven Sej is always late to help, doesnt gank yet getting outfarmed and running away from J4. There's a slow scaling Ryze mid to gank too, also flipped from the prior game.

DL also getting dunked on too

Sven HIT an ult!!! He actually hit a Sej Ult and they win.

Brilliant, if only he hit Sej ult every game.

ForFoxSakes1 votes

LoL, ya. Biofrost and Hauntzer were the ones who kept the enemy team locked down though. Bio especially hitting all his stuff and ulting the enemy carries then getting out alive. All he did was Ult open. Look at the entire game too, Sven just sits in the jungle next to a lane for the entire laning phase. Zero pressure or help to lanes. Sven ults were basically vs the first target he saw, most of the time on J4 or blitz

MysterQ2 votes

Yea, I was being sarcastic. Because week1 Sven I believe literally missed every Sej ult.

MysterQ1 votes

You can't just absolve Sven of any blame just because "his lanes are losing."

He is the jungler. It is his job to help curb that tide. Yes it is risky, but just rolling over makes him useless. So go in and take the risk..... or just let your lane lose anyways. You lose both ways, but at least you might do something.

This whole be scared, tank, try to win late isn't working.

I know nothing about the Ryze pick. But the casters too thought it was the best choice.

Dyrus going over the games with his input now https://go.twitch.tv/tsm_dyrus

vs WE - Says Sven was ahead from power farming but didnt do anything useful with it. Didnt get flashes out of anyone or go top or mid since bot was a lost lane. Overall lost because no one had a plan

vs MSF - says bot lane fucked up then Sven went in and fucked up on top of it from overstaying

Bot f*ed up

That's the problem

Ppl want Sven to do something but they wont admit bot lane f'ed up

DL is useless! Sven is bad, but DL is pretty much worse at this point.

ForFoxSakes1 votes

DL is the best ADC NA has. Cant always get ahead when the opposing jungler is always the one making plays while Sven hides in a bush near the lane to show up behind the turret only when his laners have all been shoved to shit

He is not!

He is on a good team with most likely the best top and mid laner.

ADC role likely goes to Sneaky. Who can actually play on international stage.

MysterQ3 votes

DoubleLoss is not useless!!

His summoner 4 play almost rivals CodySuns. Except it was a bit too tryhard.

ForFoxSakes2 votes

"hey guise i saw this sick move once in pro play"

Hellmet1 votes

For the love of god, they should have picked up Meteos or something. That first game was horrible.

Nitelite1 votes

They can't possibly think they have a shot at worlds with Sven. He has been a massive liability for the last 2 years.

MysterQ1 votes

For a second, I really thought Sven got smited at the nexus. He was so useless, the game allowed green smite to hit him.

ForFoxSakes1 votes

Casters even said Sven was level 8 and has yet to even use his ultimate and still just passively farming the jungle in the last game vs MSF. Totally useless. He almost always just derps around in a bush and waits for something to happen before throwing his ult out

MysterQ1 votes

Yea, I was shocked when he actually hit his ult on Ignar. Lol the one time it hits, oh hey look my ult actually can win teamfights. How strange.

A lot of it was on Parth too. The pick and ban phase was terrible for us rip :(
