Mordekaiser and Gankplank Must Bans Effect on Worlds

The interesting thing about this Worlds Tournement are the amount of power picks that need to be banned. Mordekaiser and GP are just overtuned or broken as hell and pick banned almost 100%, Lulu is a "you probably should ban", Elise is a "ban this chick or prepare to pick her or deal with her." and Darius is "Ban him, pick him or have some kick ass kite strategy to play around him.

Now it's not new to see this at Worlds but last Season I think only Alistar was permabanned. Teams have two to get rid of along with a bunch of other power picks. This also leaves lesser known power picks like Leblanc or Veigar to go unbanned often. The ban phase heavily favors blue side because red side have to get rid of GP and Mordekaiser or give one of them up, thus giving them only really one ban.

I think a reason teams like LDG floundered is because they can't target ban players. For example teams like to target ban Xpeke and get him out of his comfort zone. Asian teams typically seem to have deeper champion pools so there harder to ban out.

Not sure how I feel about this. It seems to make things a bit more interesting when you simply can't just ban a player out.
