Are all these posts by TSM crybabies or something? Four enter, two come out. That's it. Nothing else to see here. Same in the other 3 groups. To compare 2nd place records...there was only 1 team with 4 wins. Misfits had 3 just like C9. NOw you can argue that C9 got lucky that there wasn't another 3-win team in the end, like in Group D, but that's a result of the group as a whole ending up with 5,3,2,2 wins. SKT was only 1/4 of that equation.

In general, there are only 12 wins to be had. Chances are, the Group winners will go 5-1 (with a nice 6-0 by Longzhu). That means the other 3 teams are fighting over 7 wins in the hope for 4, but prob 3 to advance (with a possible playoff). There's not a whole lot of lee way. If you get 2nd, you earned it struggling for those few wins.

How can SKT carry C9? Even if you count SKT’s win against EDG as a win for C9, SKT still gave C9 two losses. I would say C9 won despite SKT, not because of them. #SimpleLogic

SKT did the opposite of carry C9 though... they strait up lost to AHQ which put AHQ in a better spot to get out of groups.

C9 just did this crazy strategy where they actually won a "must-win" game. Honestly if c9 spent literally all week exclusively prepping for AHQ and putting the other 2 games on the back-burner then they made a smart move.

IMT could have done the exact same thing to GAM because it was the only game they actually needed to win to get out.

Just because we don't like C9 doesn't mean we magically like TSM. Some of us know that NA as a region is a joke and can only get through groups on the graces of another team's victories. C9 did piss poor in week 2, only squeaking out 1 win, but didn't have to play a tie break because SKT dashed the other teams' chances. In fact, C9 had the same performance in both weeks that TSM did. 2-1 week one, 1-2 week two. TSM had to play a tie break is the only real difference. That's luck of the draw, not skill. Both teams are equally garbage, only one got luckier.

not it doesn't really matter. SKT is gonna take home another victory at worlds anyway.

C9 will get dropped in worlds pretty dang fast.
