The whole high school thing is completely out of place, Dardoch leaving high school has nothing to do with his downfall as a player. It's his cocky, toxic attitude that teams hate about him and as a result kick him out. He's basically a rookie acting like he's a veteran player with years of experience to argue with his teammates and his coaches.

Agreed.

Although I'll add that you should still finish High School because a diploma leaves you with a solid backup plan in case unforseen events ruin your career.

Let's be real, he's been straight up booted off two teams and one traded him away. Dardoch hasn't walked away be sure he chose to do so, he's been dumped each time.

If someone is going to offer a lot of money to play, why shouldn't he take it?

ChompyWulf1 votes

At this point, he should take time off to think about how his career is going. Cut twice, traded once and deemed the lesser end of the trade. He should consider a better long term future than just the fastest money. That aside, if he's offered a contract he has inherent incentive to take it.

Dardoch is an NA-born jungler who is capable of having high-quality games. High-quality non-import junglers are ridiculously hard to find (hence why, much like mids, NA is constantly importing them). Thus, unless DD suddenly performs like shite for an entire split teams will gravitate towards him even if the cons outweigh the pros.

I've seen plenty of player who are better than Dardoch

Team in NA are too fucking lazy thats why they can't find NA talent because they want to pick players who has already proven themselves

P1 and MikeYeung are a fantastic example of an NA team finding an NA talent. In many professional competitions finding established talent is preferred than trying new talent, not just Esports. Worse, in NA Esports isn't taken as seriously as it is in Korea. The top Korean teams are sponsored by major telecommunications and tech companies. USA they are start-ups who get sponsors from a smattering of companies. The player base is also reportedly smaller from what I understand. So yes, by and large, imports happen more. Hoping for NA talent to emerge and save a import slot won't excuse bad behavior forever, so Dardoch better change so he is worth keeping.

I seriously only remember Dardoch because of lee which is practically for every past jungler other then Reignover which I like watching since he doesn't use the B.S Lee sin to make plays. Seriously tho without lee sin then who is Dardoch?

Hard work beats talent Dardoch's attitude just doesn't help this day in age, CLG won with D-Lift but his cockiness was a reason on why CLG dumped his a$$ after winning their first ever championship back in 2015 Summer and making worlds in which at the time they missed for like 2-3 years prior.
Once I heard that sound-mic of CLG or even in CLG's solo Q videos where Dardoch would be so freaking hyped over "small" things, it really got annoying. Annoying and too hyped when winning; God only knows what he's like when CLG loses or make mistakes himself or the team. Proven over the splits to really just give up on players/teammates ( Fabbyyy/botlane for TL) toxic/rage and immature most of the time. Dardoch as a player is A tier no doubt about that, but 50% is also attitude and work ethic something NA just doesn't understand for the most part but slowly getting the picture tho.

And... some of it just might maybe possibly have the chance of being the TEAM he was on... coaches, staff, other players?...

Someone needs to put him on an Academy (Reserve Grade) team next yeah until he reforms.

Team Liquid is the only team that "needs" him because they're the only team WASTING an import slot on ADC. Piglet is fine as an adc, but you can find an equivalent player in NA, that's not a role worth an import slot IMO. That said, I think Dardoch would be in a better spot right now if he'd STARTED his career with a different team. I'm curious to see how next season goes (if he stays) but IMO the main reason he got booted the first time is because locodoco is a bad coach/team manager.

You gotta have the most idiotic reason ever LMAO

How do you know it was Loco fault?

Dardoch started on 3 different team, can't last in any of em and ended right back where he started LOL

Would Dardoch have been a problem ANYWAY? Maybe. But go WATCH breaking point! Loco was TERRIBLE in terms of handling him. Look, when the team OWNER and another guy has to mediate the relationship between the coach and player, as in the two guys CAN'T talk to each other, then that's on the COACH, because his JOB is managing the players. That doesn't mean you give the player whatever he wants, that means you figure out how to deal with him and how to get everyone working together because THAT is your role.

In the Breaking Point video (around 35 mins), one of the Liquid staff is telling them to calm down so they can have a productive meeting and if they need to take a minute then do so to stop arguing. LOCO then says "I'll take that" and gets up and walks out. The COACH should be the ADULT on these teams, if your player manager is just as bratty as the players then the whole thing is screwed and I'm not shocked at ALL that one (or more) of the players don't respect him. At that point, you're just a guy that couldn't cut it as a pro PLAYER.
